I know this might might be stupid but every time Madara gets new Powerup, it always makes me think of how strong the 8th gate will be giving Gai the perfect opportunity to strike since Taijutsu is his weakness which were hinted alot.
BUT!
When Madara transcended into a God, he's on a whole new level over 9000! giving him almost flawless which I don't think even 8th gate will put up a good fight.
So in all aspect, I don't think we'll see him use 8th gates and if I said were true, then honestly all the hype were all for nothing!
However, it's still likely that Gai will encounter Madaruubi and what makes me say this is where are Team Gai?
Here's all the list of possibility that I can think of:
- They're not among with the Shinobi Alliance trying to Stop Spiral Zetsu and Wooden Buddah
- Hinata Plead Neji to Protect Naruto. Neji is the team member of Team Gai, which will have to do something by the time Gaara brought Naruto to the Place where Kakashi and Minato are something big will happen.

- Kakashi is his greatest Rival and has something to do with Obito therefore giving some possibility for Team Gai to Show up
- Might also see good Ol Tribute to Gaara& Rock Lee when both squad arrives at Kakashi Party
- Madara will also heading to Kakashi place
So do you guys think Team Gai will ever have their moment ??
