i wondered that too... my friend said it was cuz they some demon process called bleaching and another made some dumb shit up saying it was a dude that had twelve demons make up his body and his name is bleach cuz his hair gets whiter and whiter every day

that sounds like an okay reason but they couldve found another name for it. i mean seriously they might as well call it detergent. they should've named it soul reaper.

Thinking about it.. I guess youre right..
But did you guys know kubo didnt call it bleach for ichigos har color.. Because that what a lot of people think, they think the series was called bleach as a funny gesture of kubo because of ichigos hair.. But bleach in japan, means something related to the afterlife..
