Will attack on Titan be a long lasting series in the Manga

Right now I'm only a anime viewer you think it will be long lasting like one piece or is it wrapping up. Please no spoilers.

It doesn't make sense at all to be, logically. We have the characters established from the beginning and a good sense of the world. The world is too realistic to add something to it every time, so it can't be explored too much.

Titans are not something to milk, you can have so many people transform and it's strength is not as a battle manga.

If anything AoT, imo as an Anime viewer only, is a suspense/thriller/mystery anime. Once all the clues are put together, it should be reaching its climax.

As a manga reader, believe me you have no idea how things are. The series is just so perfectly thought and planned. Story can go longer than you expect. I can only say that to you: 2nd phase is just beginning.

I are fellow anime only viewer for Attack on Titan, but honestly if it takes them this long to produce 12 episodes going forward I will have to seriously reconsider my stance on only watching the anime xD

Most anime right now are doing twelve episodes do to the overproducing of anime that's going on, so for better quality they are sticking with 12 instead of shooting for 25.

I'm aware of that, when I said that I wasn't trying to come off as one of those viewers who are throwing a fit over the fact that the season is half the length. I have no problem with them producing fewer episodes as I know how much work is needed to produce animation, as well as the current state of the industry in Japan. All I meant was that if they need to continuously take a four year hiatus in-between content, as much as I love the quality of the anime I would rather binge read the manga at that point.

I don't know i haven't heard anything, extra material is not a problem anymore so honestly a shorter gap makes sense.

Anime viewers, i highly reccomend reading the manga, because after reading the last chapter:

-As it goes, the manga could even reach the point where a 3rd season does not cover it entirely and they need a 4th. And lol, they took 5 years to do the second one. You would have to wait 10 years to finish it via anime

-Maybe they make an anime original ending (that would be cool)
