Why's Itachi so popular?

I was a fan way before he turned good ... or turned good in the eye of the public. I whas a fan since introduction.

The way Itachi fought whas amazing. Every move calculated, never surprised. Always the right move at the right time.

Always the minimum amount of energy in every fight. Like he faces Kakashi he knows what is necessary to bring him down and does it straight away. No naggin trying this and that.

And down goes Kakashi in a blink of an eye.

You just gotta love that calm assertive attitude. Always on top of he's game. A true master of the sharingan.

I've said it before and will do it again. True strength is never having to show it.

i liked itachi from the start for the same reasons... you said it all

I mean, he has a ponytail, he paints his nails, his best friend's a fish, and a DEPRESSED fish at that (he's always blue!). He's blind, he has MS, and he's on drugs. So, a very popular character is a cross-dressing, lonely, blind, disease-ridden druggy. Yeah, cool.

Im a guy who has long hair so I have to occasionally put my hair in a pny tail xd Everyone member has painted nails. Mabey it's an obligation to show what group your in. =p

Heck yeah, I like him because I don't like Sasuke, he got the skill to prove he's strong, unlike Sasuke who acts cool, but the only time he really won is either the character was caught off guard by him, his opponents were already injured or his team mates were helping him half of the battle (Yet he still thinks he's bad ass)
