Why do the mods merge every good thread out there with the ''naruto ??? discussion and ???+1 prediction...'' I mean after that is done NOONE actually reads it anymore, or even if they do NOONE replies to it. About the spam threads that have about 2 lines of text and are nothing more than a brief comment on the chapter they should be merged or deleted but why not leave proper threads alone. But why did my thread (which was an ACTUAL long thread and didn't even specifically to this week's chapter) get merged? I created a legitimate thread and now noone is gonna reply to it? Why even merge it if it related into the current part of Naruto in general and not this weeks specific chapter?

It makes no sense!

Maybe it has to do that I was slightly critical towards Naruto and it would be better if the thread got lost in the sea of pointless comments in the big thread. Why was my thread cancelled while many other that do relate to this weeks episode and are much shorter than my thread still up?

I agree, something like that can be frustrating, especially when debates or conversations get cluster****ed by the merging of different topics. Don't think my opinion can change that much though.

I agree here. Sometimes I go to check my posts, and the thread is merged with countless others. I just be like forget it. Zzz I don't think I ever saw a time where threads were merged, and discussions continued aside from a few one-three liners, barring Tobi's identity thread. Merged threads usually spells out doom for all the threads merged.

Yet, at the same time, I can kinda understand why they merge countless of repeated topics; since it might knock someone else's thread way down the list. Of course, one could argue that if the topic is being repeated so much that it has to be merged, then that means the members are really interested in said topic; and lose interest altogether when all threads are merged.

However, there are complaints from members sometimes when such threads flood the section. So I think they see it as some kind of win-win situation. Members have a place to discuss the topic, and members who are bothered by it don't have to see it.

The topic was not unique but comes up every week and there are many of them still up and active. Yes it was just another Kishi/chapter rant. Even the replies were repeated " just like I said in another thread..." and so on. The section is flooded with similar topics and all of them were being cleaned up as much we could.

Next time if you have an argument about why a thread was removed or merged please send a PM.
