Well Zeref so far wields the strongest magic, death magic, so in order to beat that you need something to counteract that, somebody said life magic, because life counteracts death but that would seem cliché. Probably his END magic will be just that, END magic. The pinnacle of both dragon and God slayer magic, Natsu lost his memories so he lost his powers to access that magic, perhaps by having a reboot such as dying again but being revived he could awaken it? Or perhaps aconologia is the key, through his death perhaps Natsu can awaken END magic.

NOt even a spell that death circle you see zeref use is accidental that's like a solo sneeze imagine when he does use his full power

its too soon to predict who is the stronger one, and everything up until now leads to acno> zeref

zeref was scared when acno 1st made his entry
acno ruled in f.rogue's timeline
zeref needs an army to defeat acno

although few things also favour zeref , like his immortality, and of course god ankhserum, he is the biggest mystery right now

Dragon Slayers are strong magicians, but Acknoligia is also the dragon king that is why he is the strongest. Zerefs magic won't work on Acknologia's dragon form.

I like Acnologia way more though, although Zeref will turn out to be the strongest by the end, Zeref's reason as well as his position seems weird and very cliche when it comes to a FV, Acnologia would do a better job, but oh well.
