Why was sasuke's preta barely used? Vote2

So he knows chibaku tensei and using it like so6p to use his sussano as a vessel but he can't use a preta path till the absolute end. The fact is he used it, he could have used it earlier to keep his reserves high. Either he is stupid as shit or its plot. Kishi did this with madara and obito, madara stops using preta once he is rikudo mode which could have helped him against narutos ninjutsu.
Bruh you cant use one path amd say Sasuke is adept at them all. Understand that he only had it for a few hours maybe a day. He saw Madara spam Chibaku Tensei and seal all Bijuu in Gedo Mazou. However he only saw absorption once.
His Rinnegan is new and not only that HE is new to tge Rinnegan. He could be good at some areas but need work in others. Its you guys who seem to think he should have automatic mastery of all paths. THAT is plot.
Also you cant compare Juubi Jin nerfs to Sasuke its completely unrelated.

what are you talking about? hes canonically used preta path so rinnegan being new or mastery is irrelevant because he has shown to use it hence why the thread is asking why wasnt it used more often

I'd say he was new to the rinne and he didn't wanna risk leaving any openings for naruto(ex. Preta'ng a clone or some dumb sh t like that) but realistically he was new to it and kishi was rushed
Lol he used and used it pretty well, he absorbed all of kyubis remaining chakra instantly.why didn't he do it more often and keep his reserves up while naruto was spamming ninjutsu. Why didn't madara use it against naruto. It absolutely makes no sense but kishi had to nerf that power. I'm not a sasuke fan and naruto can counter even preta but the fact that madara and sasuke didn't use it more often is beyond me and the only reason is a plot nerf. Preta is too op I guess.
Deus Ex Machina. Sasuke could have easily pulled everything out and killed Naruto. Why didn't he?

Its simply plot kishi knows preta is op its stated to be an endless well in the databook sasuke nagato and madara would have all potentially negg diffed naruto since he spams ninjutsu , in the movie momoshinki absorbed bijuu damas with preta the whole problem with defeating him was he had preta a technique used way before by nagato so basically a movie villain is the only one who can use preta to its full ability because plot smh its a shame
