We know kakashi knew that naruto was minatos son from jump for a fact. when naruto was dealing with haku kakashi wondered if the seal had broken. and there was a reason alot of people stayed away from naruto in the vilage-they knew who he was and it was well understood by all the jounins in the village that the fox was sealed in the 4ths son. Kakashi just like sasuke a little bit more because like him sasuke could use lightening, and fire, and was a taijutsu beast, and had the sharingan and was a genius. they were similar

That was in the Shippuden serie - when it became clear Naruto needed to have more training if he wanted to survive an attack of the Akatsuki.
And if Kakashi preferred Sasuke more than Naruto, he wouldn't have trained him, now would he? You just contradicted yourself. If Kakashi preferred to teach Sasuke, he would never have noticed how Naruto was best taught something.

And it's not because Naruto is his sensei's son that that means Naruto should get better treatment. Let's be honest here: Naruto acted like an idiot at first and had trouble understanding new jutsu's.
Plus like someone else mentioned before, Jiraiya told Kakashi that he would take over Naruto's training while Kakashi focused on Sasuke's training.

Kakashi just found it a bit easier to teach Sasuke than to teach Naruto - that doesn't mean he failed in his role as teacher. Some students are just easier to teach than others

He probably had time for naruto when sasuke betrayed konoha,I dint say he should pamper naruto because he is his sensei's son,as uve said that naruto was very bad when he was young is a more appealing reason why he should have been helped.

If I understand your post correctly, you mean that because Naruto was bad with jutsu's at first, Kakashi should have helped more? When a shinobi graduates from the Academy, they are supposed to have no trouble understanding most jutsu's and how they should be performed. Naruto graduated thanks to the fact that he could perform the Kage no bunshin, and considering he was put in a team, it is assumed he wouldn't have too many problems with training.

Like some said before: Kakashi did help Naruto train, he didn't teach them anything different depending on who he was training with at that moment until the Chuunin exams, when it became clear that Sasuke wanted to learn more. While Kakashi helped Sasuke, Naruto was helped by Jiraiya, which isn't a too shabby deal if you ask me.

Naruto even improved as a shinobi during his time with Team Seven so Kakashi can't have screwed up his teaching role that badly. And in Shippuden, Kakashi focused his attention on Naruto and spent more time training with him than with Sakura, so I honestly don't see the problem.

Either Sasuke went to him or Kakashi offered to teach him more - on second thought, I think it's the latter. Sorry, it's been a while since I last read that particular scene.
It wasn't Kakashi's job to raise Naruto. It's not because Kakashi was treated like a son by Minato, that he should do the same with Naruto. In fact Kakashi treated Naruto a lot better than the rest of the village. I think Naruto considers Iruka as a father figure or so. Don't know about Kakashi.

And again Naruto did improve as shinobi during his time with Team Seven. Kakashi didn't give up on him and he didn't treat him like he was stupid or a monster.
And like I mentioned before: Kakashi only started to give Sasuke a different training during the Chuunin exams - before that, he taught them all the same things; he didn't single out any of them and didn't go easier or harder on someone depending on who it was.
And yes, Kakashi admitted that he saw traits of himself in Sasuke - is that a crime to admit? At least he was being honest.

Naruto has been trained by Kakashi with different techniques than Sasuke - should Sasuke feel pushed aside now? No. Kakashi just changed his training techniques depending on the student he deals with. Nothing wrong with that. In fact that's even better because it helps the student more than just treating everyone the same.

Sasuke got a bit more training in the first part and Naruto got more training in Shippuden. So in the end it evens out the accusations of playing favourites I think.

Because he lets Jiraiya take care of his training. Jiraiya was Naruto's father teacher so he knew more than anyone else how to train him.

On the other hand, Kakashi took care of Sasuke's training because he possesses the sharingan just like him and no one else in the village was more apt than him to train Sasuke.

Minato and kakashi had a good teacher-student relationship,but if you watched naruto part1 how I watched it,you would see that pre-wave country mission kakashi never cared about naruto even though he was said he lost his sensei he never taught his team anything,I don't know but I think he taught sasuke better.And his sensei's son was in the same village with him,he couldn't look after him,he was being an Emo and a pervert with jiraiya.am still baffled to this day,someone should pls help me?

I didn't say Naruto was trained better - also Naruto's main training in Shippuden happened after the confrontation with Sasuke if I remember correctly - I said that Kakashi spent time training them seperately both in the first serie and in Shippuden.

In the first serie, Sasuke got a bit more attention near the end of the first part and in Shippuden it was Naruto. Also the fact that Sasuke managed to win from Naruto, Yamato and Sai at that time in Orochimaru's hideout, isn't necessarily Kakashi's fault.
Naruto spent three years training with Jiraiya, so you have to blame him then for not training Naruto enough, while Orochimaru did train a lot with Sasuke. They each spent three years training with a Sannin - blame Jiraiya then for not training Naruto enough.

Also, it's not like Kakashi asked Minato to consider him almost like a son - Minato chose to act like that on his own volition. Kakashi is some sort of father figure to Naruto and Naruto doesn't seem to mind the type of relation they have.

And again go read the first part of the serie: Kakashi taught them all equally until that one point in the middle of the Chuunin exams. And even then Naruto got trained by Jiraiya so it wasn't like he was left out in the cold. Both got trained.
I think Naruto got more training with Kakashi in Shippuden than Sasuke in the first serie.

And again, Naruto improved during the time with Team Seven. If Kakashi truly didn't train him well enough, he wouldn't have been able to improve.

The case would have been different if you talked about Sakura. Out of the three of them, she never had any special training session with Kakashi as far as I can remember.
Both Naruto and Sasuke had special training sessions with Kakashi, except Sakura. But I don't hear you complaining about unfair treatment for her, even though she was never shown to have received any special training of Kakashi
