Why was Itachi brainwashed by the Senju clan?

I don't think Itachi was brainwashed. He was forced. And he really loved Sasuke, more than Konoha or himself.

You can't blame Itachi he's a pacifist, besides Itachi did it for Konoha's sake and he chose it himself. As I recall, he called his own clan pathetic.
Anyway I think there's still more to know on "The truth about Itachi" thing. As what I observed on Madara's attitude, maybe he did lie on other details regarding that incident.
I think we shouild stick around for that.
