Although i like Smoker, Oda is doing him dirty. Smoker has become a punching dummy used to hype up others (Dofla, Ace, Law, Vergo etc). Hopefully Oda stops while Smoker can still breathe. We want to see Smoker stomping someone or at the very least beating someone worth noting.

Yes my dude, YES. I feel the exact same way, his abilities are being extremely underplayed. He's a beast Marine who deserves to be interpreted as, not a small fry who tries to play with the big dogs.

But believe me when I say, his time is coming soon. Something is going to change soon.

Smoker is more fit than Coby for a number of reasons.

And we still don't know enough about all of the marines relations to Roger. Maybe Roger had a pirate he also hated with a passion, like Luffy hating Blackbeard.

You're right, it's not a sword it's proper name is a 'jitte'.

And Smokers sense of hearing is the best in all the manga, a fitting characteristic for the Governments best hunter. He can even distinguish and memorize the growl of a giant crocodile in a crowd of 20.

Yeah honestly I think a lot of people were upset by that, he deserved more for his intro to the New World. It could've been a tie or drawn out longer, but hey.

Well at least to our knowledge in order to become an Admiral you first must be an...Vice Admiral. So yeah, some of them are quite powerful.​
