@The Pervy Sage & others who have committed the act of contradictions/false facts: First off Pervy Sage, you are incorrect with your statement of
"the curse of the uchiha is revenge as you can see through the series" the only Uchiha who held revenge in their hearts were Madara (as the Uchiha betrayed him) and Sasuke (as his brother forced him onto a life of revenge). Did Itachi or Obito ever seek revenge? Sasuke had his entire Ichizoku (family) massacred by his brother. Sasuke had everyone he held dear taken away by his brother and had it displayed through Tsukuyomi. Then was pushed into a life of vengeance by Itachi who even though acted with good intentions, in the end had not known the depth of how far Sasuke had fallen.
His plan backfired and the end result was a creation of a corrupt and troubled young man, who only ate, lived, dreamed and desired revenge. Itachi resurfaced in Konoha years later to remind Danzou and a weak Sasuke challenged him. This made Itachi enforce Sasuke?s will of revenge and yearn for power through another painstaking view of the massacre for the second time and Orochimaru took advantage of this as he tempted Sasuke by the way of fast power. Madara captured Sasuke after Itachi passed and forced his version of the truth. Which re-opened a path of vengeance when Sasuke apparently felt justified after his brother?s death, just as Itachi wanted.
However, Sasuke did not believe Madara completely and demanded confirmation from Danzou which he received. This is where Sasuke?s persona took an even bigger turn as his mentality seemed to deteriorate even more than what is was. Sasuke has lived a life of intervention. In other words, he led a life mostly predetermined by Itachi/Orochimaru/Madara. Had Itachi not force this life of revenge on his younger brother may he have lived a different life.
Sasuke is not
"stupid" but has rather sustained interventions, trauma, corruption, what appears to be an unstable mentality, hatred/darkness and believes his own actions are justified. People also seem to forget other characters throughout the manga who are similar to Sasuke. Like for e.g. Gaara who lost his mother, shunned by his own village, his father?s several attempts at murdering him and betrayed by his uncle which ultimately turned him into an unstable murder. Another one I think even more similar to Sasuke is Nagato. Who lost both his parents to an accidental death by a couple of Konoha ninja which turned his mind unstable and he murdered them.
He didn?t even have it as bad as Sasuke who witnessed the massacre of his entire family over and over twice through Tsukuyomi. He lived unstable but completely lost himself when Yahiko died and Sasuke seemed to snap completely with Danzou?s confirmation. Gaara/Nagato were able to change as a result tied to Naruto but Sasuke had the tragedies in his life way worse as well as a brother who continued to ensure his path of vengeance.
The Uchiha Ichizoku have been depicted as cursed and revengeful by you and others but in my opinion I think not and this is why:

Whether or not the Uchiha supported Hashirama for leadership, they only desired peace. As soon as Madara chose war, they betrayed and looked down on their former leader.

I think Revan was correct in his statement as there had been a selection held for leader of the village. It was originally founded by Hashirama and Madara. It should have instead been the two running the village and yet only one was chosen and of course it led to conflict, being Madara. Only when the Kyuubi incident arose did the higher ups falsely accuse Uchiha and with how the village treated them had it created corruption amongst the Uchiha and practically turned them against their own village. Which lead Konoha to discriminate, mistrust, suspect, moved Uchiha to a disclosed part of their own village and were quarantined like some deceased animals. As this occurred did it make the Uchiha feel betrayed/threatened and decided to retaliate through the means of a Coup d??tat, not revenge. Konoha?s villagers have had their own failures by not giving the Uchiha the benefit of the doubt in the way of innocent until proven guilty.
This is off topic but you mentioned Naruto
"walks the path of good and peice without corruption" however, did Naruto have a life like Sasuke?s? Now, I am not denying that he had a sorrowed past but it was not anything like what Sasuke had to live through. He also even stated that he could have easily been in Sasuke shoes. He also got to view his darker evil self reflected. Which means that Naruto as well as Sasuke has that side to him and I think had Naruto suffered the trials Sasuke faced, he might not have turned out to be so pure. I simply fail to see how all Uchiha are cursed with vengeance and nobody said you cannot have your own point of view. However, you use insolence and non-factual statements in your opinion. That is simply what I had a problem with.
