This post is so dumb. :lol I can't believe this guy basically just called every shipper ever a ''literary analyst'', lmao. It's quite the opposite - people who look for pairings first in fictional works that are not based around them are usually shallow, limited, boring and primal. They ignore actually important things like story quality and character development, all they want is that one pairing that looks cute to happen.
Pairings do ruin everything in any non-Shoujo, non-romance manga/anime, they waste panel time that could've been spent on compelling writing about literally anything else by having recycled and uninteresting interactions, plus ''subtle'' rom moments that still somehow work for every pairing tard ever, hinting towards their easily impressed and limited nature.
You didn't have to write a short novel justifying why you pair kids in a Shounen series, as if anyone cares. Just don't try to pass it off as intelligent, because you look funny and pretentious.
