Contract seal takes care of edo tensei unless Tobirama summons other senju members who would still be wiiling to fight for him even after losing control. But those senju are fodder since there has never been any mention of them and we all know that not all people of a clan are op, not all Hyuga are insane strong, only Hiashi and maybe neji, not all Uchiha are insane strong, they were killed by two guys, nuff said, so it is safe to say that whatever senju hashirama resurects will be easily taken care of. IMO removing the contract wouldn't stop the Edo, the ninetails was still around after Minato removed Tobi's contract wasn't it? Also contract seal removes control over the summoned individual, but if he is summoning Senju's than wouldn't they willingly fight for him anyway? Overwhelming the point was that if Minato has to seal the Edo's that creates openings for Tobirama and in a Kage level fight leave even one opening would probably be the death of you.

If he had used edo tensei before, which he clearly did since he created the technique, he could just resummon the coffin. Think about it when Kabuto summoned all the akatsuki member infront of Tobi, he didn't bring 6 or so people with him. Tobirama could just resummon the Edo Tenseis he has already created.

Taking the flaws away, I'll say minato would win with Mid Diff. The funnniest thing was, you said that Tobirama, who was said to not have the strongest Edos, which leads me to believe he couldn't summon high ranking ninjas, you said that his Edos are stronger than Giant Toads. That sir, is a lie. I believe the strongest thing Tobirama could summon would be a Strong Jounin, now you'll agree Toads > S Jounin, right?

there is no appearence of 2nd after he said sarutobi to be the 3rd nd he was not that old to give up his position so maybe he knew that he was goin to end up as a decoy . moreover if a hokage cannot stand against some 20 ninjas maybe all jounin , he is obviously weaker than namikaze minato !

Argh! I dunno really, I mean look at Tobi and Minato, that was about speed really and I think Minato will have the second if it goes on speed (since it will be S/T sort of fight).

This debate uses incomplete character bios for both of them so no conclusion is really clear. From what we have been given i would say Tobirama simply because of what has been stated about him and Hashirama. Its been said in the Manga that Hashirama and Tobirama are "Hailed as being the best shinobi". This was stated by the ANBU in chapter 118. Since they are both said to be hailed as the best shinobi and according to the current information we have on Hashirama shouldn't we assume that Tobirama is close in strength to Hashirama?

We have more info on minato and his tech's so thats why ppl are bound to think that minato is > tobirama.i agree with you that the 2nd is > minato.

Though they are very similar. In the anime tobirama had the thunder god sword while minato had flash thunder god tech. Coincidence. Minato stating their time jutsu being the best other than tobis make tobirama being as fast as minato or maybe being capable of ftg. Then their 1 finger detection tech. Plus there maybe a possibility of tobirama being able to summon toads esp since he is a water tech user.

My vote goes to Minato. We know more about him than even Tobirama.

FTG has yet to fail, I mean it failed on A because Bee intervened, but if Bee wasn't there, A would have been gone. Tobirama's water style can be avoided, and Minato has to be a master of taijutsu to mark people. Even without FTG Minato is the fastest (if not one of the fastest) without using a technique. So you mean to tell me he worked on his footwork so he could cast genjutsu or ninjutsu? He has to be fast enough to mark people.
