Figured I'd step in and give my 2 cents worth.
1) The statement somebody made about Sasuke not needing to work hard based on natural talent.
I'm not a Sasuke-hater, in fact I like him, but this is one aspect of his character doesn't appeal to me. It's like a "silver spoon" mentality- I'm so cool because I have natural talent and don't have to do anything but walk out onto the battlefield. Naruto, on the other hand, has had to work his rear off in order to move up in the world of the ninja. He's tried and failed miserably in a good bit of
his battles. Even so, he never gave up. He trained until he couldn't even move and he saw the results. I mean, seriously, which would you prefer...I don't have to work for anything because it'll just be handed to me OR I'll work my tail off to get what I want? And to claim that Naruto has all his power-ups handed to him because he has the Kyubi is bull. Shoot, Naruto didn't even know how to tap into Kurama's chakra at the very beginning of Part 1. It was his own chakra levels (earned from his Uzumaki heritage) that helped him in his training...and they still do. Kurama's influence and chakra were even detrimental to Naruto later in the series (I'm referencing when Naruto went into 3/4-tails mode). Someone else stated that Kurama was originally a hindrance, and I completely agree with that too
2) There have been a few comments about Naruto's personality and how unrealistic it is.
Consider the fact that we all live in the real world. I admit that his talk-no-jutsu wouldn't be all that effective in our world, especially when combined with his impulsiveness. However, he IS only 16 and there ARE people in our world that utilize talk-no-jutsu (negotiators and diplomats anyone?). I think as he gets older that he'll become more of a diplomat type. He'll still have his impulsive attitude (I hope anyway), but he'll have gone through this war and have
friends like Sakura and Shikamaru to temper it. Naruto is
loyal, impulsive, hard-headed, confident to a fault, self-sacrificing, and determined- these are the things I like about him because most of them make for a good role-model for young kids.
He is the most annoying character I have seen in my life

That is exactly what I mean, can't you be in a Naruto forum because you dislike the main character? It's over 100 characters in Naruto /facepalmthen guy are u in naruto forum?

A guy said we are jealous because he believe in himself and can do everything, but yet he haven't got Sasuke backIt's like me saying all Sasuke haters are jealous on Sasuke because he have a cool personality.... seriously
I partly agree with thisHe was cool back in the day when he was proving himself, trying to get acknowledgement from everything one, winning against the odds, he was stupid in a funny way. No he's all different now and the series as a whole, all the things we used to loved about Naruto are gone.
Regardless, his still the best but not the same as back then.

This is a false statement. I hate Naruto but I am not a Sasuke fanboy. I am not a fan of any character that would make me hate Naruto as I am a fan of Itachi and Minato(mostly). The only people who don't like Naruto are the Sasuke fanboy's because current Naruto stomps Sasuke low diff.
i agree why the hate??! wont you like to have a friend like naruto!
