Why so many people don't like One Piece ??

i just started watching one piece episode 140 right now and its actually pretty good i think it has a great balance of comedy and seriousness

not going to lie at the end of the Alabasta Arc i almost shed a tear

The biggest issue is the crappy dub when it was first introduced. It practically killed any emotion in the anime. Most people here probably started watching the dub for Naruto like I did and probably did the same for One Piece. The dub version is what hooks people in at a young age and influences them the most.

Second reason is it takes awhile for it to get really good. Not just good, I mean amazing. You are only on episode 245 and are probably seeing the transition of the story now. It goes from the old, enemy appears, and beat the enemy part to mystery, drama, and a bunch of other emotions that are much more serious. Then you will see the op bad guys and...well it just gets better from there. When people watch Naruto first and try to get into an anime people are hearing is better then Naruto and have to wait 230 episodes before that happens, people don't want to invest the time. They keep waiting and waiting for it to be better and it doesn't happen, so they give up before it becomes amazing. Can't blame them.

If you are saying OP = Naruto right now, you haven't seen nothing yet. Before the Water 7 arc, I would also agree with you that Naruto = OP. The only arcs better are the rescue Saskue arc and Pain arc, despite the crappy animation. Arcs later in One Piece dwarf these arcs however imo.

I never liked one piece It just didn't come to me I hated all that pirate thingy etc althought I only watched maybe when puffy helped that girl with red hair that become part of his crew in the begining and didn't like it

Personal I was hard to start watching One Piece because a year ago One Piece have over 500 episodes. But glancing at AMV's I sparked my interest and and I watched all the episodes. And I really want to watch One Piece me again. So One Piece is a great anime, deserves all the lost time XD.

A narutotard is searching for another manga to follow in order to satice his mangakical dezires. He hears about one piece. He then decides to try it out. Watches some pics and the earlier anime. Sees somewhere like 15-20 episodes and thinks its crap. Posts on forum sayings its very bad and the drawing is childish. OP fans disagree. Narutard spends sometime spamming crap. After awhile sees a lot of people watching the same OP. So decides to try it again watches around 200 episodes.

I'm on chapter 245, and it's cool. Okay, it is sometimes boring,but is ****ing awesome.
Luffy and his crew are way too funny and cool at same times.

Why so many people don't like One Piece? To put this simply One Piece has many Positives points then negatives points, One Piece does have it's negatives, but not strong and One Piece has many good elements that the negative sides to it are hardly noticeable.

1) It is the most popular manga in Japan by a landslide, the amount of people who don't like One Piece is a speck of dust in front of its fans

I don't find the plot interesting and I dislike the drawing style *shrugs* I don't have anything against One Piece fans - everyone has their own favourite manga, but I just don't like it.

I watch Naruto and One Piece for different reasons, hence why they are equal in my books. Surprisingly I get more frustrated by One Piece's characters then Naruto's characters (Despite me knowing it should be the opposite way).
Usopp's cowardice annoys me, the whole cutesy thing Chopper has going annoys me, Brook's panty and skull humor annoys me, Luffy's arrogance can get on my nerves, etc. Yet for some reason I have no problem with Sakura and Sasuke, my brain confuses the hell out of me.

You're kidding right, it's impossible not to like Brook and his dry humor, chopper is funny as hell when he gets complimented and start being all shy, Usopp grows on you, i didn't like Usopp much at first but now i find him hilarious, and i don't see luffy as arrogant, i see him as someone who doesn't give a f*ck about who is fighting.

Op isnt trush...it is just different than Naruto..Naruto and OP readers can clearly understand that OP is better...but Naruto Only readers are just used to this **** so they dislike it...
I love OP...it is the only manga that makes me overflowing with emotions!
