Why Sasuke Can't Be Hokage

Oh really? So helping to end Edo Tensei, which ultimately ended the war, and fighting to save the world doesn't clear his name in the slightest bit huh?

He's already showing signs of a Kage by putting others before himself. If he was truly evil, he'd sit back and eat popcorn while watching Obito annihilate the alliance.

Some overreact about the petty crimes he committed.

I know right killing future hokage is nothing...also how has he put others before him??? He has his own agenda

That future Hokage was shady and also had his own agenda. Not to mention no one trusted him. His mere title is meaningless.

But danzo wasn't a former akastuki member, missing nin, he didn't attack a jinchuriki, nor did he attack the kages before he became the hokage

Well if the people don't know they dont care and if people dont consider him the hokage what good will that do??? Lol no one will follow him....but first of all no jonin would vote for him or no one would even nominate him....that's where he would lose....

Sasuke can't be Hokage, because the Hokage has to be voted in by the villages Jounin. They WILL NOT allow Sasuke to be Hokage, for a few reasons (other than the obvious fact that they don't trust him).

1.) Sasuke killed Danzo-- Danzo was essentially Hokage when he battled Sasuke. This means that when Sasuke killed him, he was killing the Hokage. Allowing him to be Hokage after this would be the equivalent to voting in Lee Harvey Oswald as President of the United States after he killed Kennedy.

2.) Sasuke views people as disposable-- Remember how he killed Danzo specifically? He used his lightning blade to skewer Karin and Danzo. He did this to 1 of the 3 people that actually decided to follow him. Let me ask you, if you had only 3 people in the world that you could trust, would you kill one of them because it was convenient? And if he could do this to someone he trust, how would he act toward someone he didn't know? Like a diplomat to another village?

3.) The other Kage don't trust him-- He attacked the Summit, and tried to capture Bee. This would cause tension between the Leaf and the Cloud, would be counter-productive to the new system he keeps blabbing on about.

4.) There are plenty of better candidates-- Tsunade will remain Hokage (assuming she lives through the war), Kakashi has Hokage reasoning and plenty of others to back in him up when it comes to strength (assuming he isn't already dead), Shikamaru has the intelligence and the same support that Kakashi has, and Naruto (of course).

Any thoughts on this?

1&2) Sasuke's mind was all over the place, he was angry and desperate, that was all. He's put other's safety before his own plenty of times, like he did for Naruto just recently. Danzou wasn't Hokage, just a candidate, nobody trusted him anyway, all of the other Kage found out he was 'influencing' Mifune at the summit.

3&4) He's done a great deal in the war effort and has the backing of all the previous Hokage, including the more careful footed Tobirama. Shikamaru isn't viable because when all is said and done, he lacks the raw power to match his intelligence which would render his ability to protect the village limited.

He said he didn't care about what they thought of him.

He decided that he wouldn't let Itachi's death be in vain. So he has Konoha at heart.

Yeah he wants to kill Naruto, but for the sake of ending the ways of the current ninja system and ultimately the curse of hatred, which benefits more than just himself.

Well, when it comes down to it, would you rather have the guy who saved the village from Pain, who has knowingly been trying to be Hokage since day one, and is at least top 3 strongest alive in the village (Close, equal, or better than Sasuke with #1 IMO)? Or the guy who equals (more or less) his power, yet has done at least three things that go COMPLETELY against the village. In the end they're about equal when it comes to ideals and power at this moment (considering Naruto wiped out and found all the Zetsu's, and stopped a few Edo Tenseis, and Sasuke finished off the rest of the Edo Tensei's, in other words they both completely changed the tide of war in terms of power initially), but in the end, Sasuke would be second choice to become Hokage behind Naruto because of the things he's done in the past.
