Why Sasuke Can't Be Hokage

No one wants Sasuke as Hokage. Naruto would stomp him before that happens. Kakashi is up next.

Sasuke can't be Hokage, because the Hokage has to be voted in by the villages Jounin. They WILL NOT allow Sasuke to be Hokage, for a few reasons (other than the obvious fact that they don't trust him).

1.) Sasuke killed Danzo-- Danzo was essentially Hokage when he battled Sasuke. This means that when Sasuke killed him, he was killing the Hokage. Allowing him to be Hokage after this would be the equivalent to voting in Lee Harvey Oswald as President of the United States after he killed Kennedy.

2.) Sasuke views people as disposable-- Remember how he killed Danzo specifically? He used his lightning blade to skewer Karin and Danzo. He did this to 1 of the 3 people that actually decided to follow him. Let me ask you, if you had only 3 people in the world that you could trust, would you kill one of them because it was convenient? And if he could do this to someone he trust, how would he act toward someone he didn't know? Like a diplomat to another village?

3.) The other Kage don't trust him-- He attacked the Summit, and tried to capture Bee. This would cause tension between the Leaf and the Cloud, would be counter-productive to the new system he keeps blabbing on about.

4.) There are plenty of better candidates-- Tsunade will remain Hokage (assuming she lives through the war), Kakashi has Hokage reasoning and plenty of others to back in him up when it comes to strength (assuming he isn't already dead), Shikamaru has the intelligence and the same support that Kakashi has, and Naruto (of course).

Any thoughts on this?

I don't want Sasuke to be Hokage. I'd prefer adviser to Hokage Naruto, but I'll play devil's advocate

1. Danzo deserved it. He is partially responsible for Sasuke's fall into darkness since he committed genocide. He is also responsible for Pain's invasion since Pain's fall into darkness was caused by Yahiko's death, and Danzo's responsible for Kabuto's fall into darkness. He tried mind control the other Kages and was being hunted down when Sasuke killed him.

2. Valid point. However, Sasuke is getting out of that now. He is slowly on his way to redemption. He apologized to Karin, thereby admitting the was in the wrong. For example, he saved Sakura (though he couldn't conceivably be doing this for any ulterior motives.) He even showed concern when Sai nearly died.

3. Sasuke greatest enemy in the Kages is the Raikage. Raikage was chosen as leader because he was no longer emotional after they found Bee was alive. When he was healed, he was right there with Suigetsu and Karin (both of which are as guilty as Sasuke), but he did not attack them. Why would he attack Sasuke, if not them.

That future Hokage was shady and also had his own agenda. Not to mention no one trusted him. His mere title is meaningless.

Sasuke is putting others before himself by fighting in this war. No one forced him to help stop Obito.

Does he really have a choice right now? It is either help or be get caught in the Infinite Tsyukonomi like everyone else on the Earth. So regardless of what he is doing now that doesn't change how he has felt for most of his life. He still has a lot of hate in heart and that doesn't go away in one day after listening to 2 Hokages.

Everyone is actually forgetting why Sasuke switched sides.... He's trying to protect what Itachi worked his whole life to protect. I think Sasuke's reasoning would be better than Naruto's since he heard the Kage's reasoning and Uchiha/ Senju history he would be able to identify future discrimination and put an end to it.

I can't see Naruto have a kage level mindset, he's not serious enough. He's just strong. Sasuke would rule with a FAIR iron fist

to the sasuke haters, sasuke is the ONLY REASON everyone is alive right now. He Resurrected Orochimaru who brought the 4 Hokage back. Orochimaru is the reason Tsunade is healed and has the ability to help more wounded. Sasuke and Naruto's teamwork is helping defeat Jubito. Ultimately Sasuke was brainwashed by Obito and Killed Danzo(you want that guy running the village?). Ultimately only Kishi knows Sasuke's true intentions. He could still be evil, but maybe not. Without Sasuke Madara and Jubito would be on a rampage with no Tsunade, no Hashirama, no Tobirama, no Hiruzen, no Minato, and no Orochimaru who im sure has something up his sleeve with his mastery of forbidden techniques and tons of research. Ultimately Sasuke is going to be praised for his achievements in winning the war which would be lost without it. Sasuke ultimately made Naruto and Sakura stronger by leaving and making them want to be strong enough to help.

People do realise that Konoha won't even consider him a contender, it goes in the order of Naruto then Kakashi.

He needs to be sound village kage. It is way more interesting and loyal than leaf could ever be. Give people a mark seal you have a friend for life.

Plus the residents like Jugo who talks to animals. People fighting in caves for freedom. Sick guys coming back from comas break dancing. Who can beat that?
