Cmon, Sasuke is not the same kind of "Genius" as were the others. he was only showing the superiority of the Uchihas innate abilities for perception and skill. at the most least Sasuke was the below average Uchiha. Sasuke, was just following his brothers footsteps (a.k.a. The True Genius) and gained the powers that madaraa has, but Sasuke is not strong enough to take on everyone in the shinobi world as Both Indra has, and as Madara is doing now. Sasuke is part of the power of love. and will continue to do so. he can't really do anything by himself.

How do you know he was the Naruto of his clan if he was compared. Who can solo a whole bunch of shinobi without a sratch and master Kakashi's chidori and lightning itself to the point of making a big Lightning dragon from the thunderstorm. Sasuke is a genius. I think he is reincarnation, because it would fit with Naruto being the reincarnation. Madara and Hashirama were previous reincarnations imo. Plus Sasuke was the top in his class at Part 1 and many people praised him. Itachi is irrelevant, imo.Doubt Kishi is going to pull him into this. your complete theory is invalid since naruto is the main character and his ''rival'' and the person who he sees as ''brother'' is sasuke. Since those 2 have been linked to each other since the beginning every single second you spend on this theory is completely wasted.

I think Sasuke is the reincarnation of Indra, but he somehow started to break the cycle of hatred with a "little" help of Naruto.
But I also would like to point this out:
Madara was also a reincarnation of Indra.
He tried the same thing and thought exactly like him.
But when he died the chakra from Indra himself went on to the next possible reincarnation (Sasuke).
Now Madara is back and yeah he still thinks the same way but he isn't the reincarnation.
He's only a misguided soul which seeks "Peace" in power.
Unlike Itachi Sasuke invented most of his Jutsu of his own. He perfected the Genjutsu of the Sharingan and the abilities of the Mangekyo Sharingan in the blink of an eye too. Orochimarus influence regarding Sasukes training for the Sharingan was minor.
Itachi on the other hand was promoted by the Uchiha-Clan and afterwards by Obito. I dare to say that Itachi was the indirect student of Madara Uchiha, because Madara had taught Obito all about the Uchihas Jutsu/Kinjutsu(chapter 606) and Obito passed down that knowledge to Itachi. Itachi learned for many years from Obito. Itachi admitted it.
Sasuke made mistakes, sure. However, he is in my opinion without a doubt the most talented Uchiha and will be like Indra in the future.
Sasuke cannot be the reincarnation of Indra. Madara is the only reincarnation of Indra. mainly because of their characteristics. lets look at Sasuke. Sasuke left the village to be trained by someone else to get stronger. he wouldn't have had to do that if he was a true genius, but no, the true Genius was Itachi. Indra was a True Genius by birth. the closest reincarnation candidate for Indra after Madara Uchiha would have to be Itachi. another point that goes against Sasuke being the Reincarnation of Indra is mainly because when sasuke left the village, he joined a team, and then when he killed orochimaru, he made a team. but with Indra, that dude flew solo.....every single time. like in the situation now. Everyone is against Madara. Sasuke cannot go up against everyone like Madara or Indra, so it stands to reason that Sasuke cannot be the reincarnation because sasuke, at birth was a normal uchiha, nothing new.
in conclusion, the above statements are my own opinion but i believe this to be the case. that sasuke is not, and cannot be the reincarnation of Indra. but if kishi decides to pull a fast one on and openly say inn the manga that Sasuke is the Reincarnation of Indra, i will have to accept that.
Sasuke IS the reincarnation of Indra. Reincarnation is basically the awakening of the spirit in another body, possessing the same abilities. Physical resemblance is not a factor. Sasuke resembles to Indra in spiritual characteristics more than Madara...
If Sasuke is not Indra's reincarnation, it will ruin the Naruto-Sasuke parallelism which Kishimoto has established since the first day, and always keeps reminding us about that. This single reason is enough for Sasuke being Indra's reincarnation. Sasuke and Indra were both far superior to Naruto and Ashura respectively until they caught up to their level. But Madara had always been defeated by Hashirama, his Yang counterpart. Madara openly acknowledged and admired Hashirama whereas Sasuke couldn't bear Naruto's fast pace of growth, just like Indra. Madara approached Hashirama as a friend and rival, but Sasuke didn't once consider Naruto to be his rival, just like Indra. Sasuke didn't like to cooperate with others (he had the lowest cooperation scores in academy). He didn't cooperate with Naruto, just like Indra didn't accept cooperation with Ashura. But Madara had no problems in cooperating with Hashirama (the formation of Konoha is a proof for that). Keep in mind, Sasuke didn't cooperate with Taka, he just bossed them around, if you know the difference. That is exactly what Indra wanted to do, boss people around by becoming their leader, but he didn't give a shit about cooperation, just like Sasuke. Sasuke has the exact same motives as Indra NOW. He wants to become Hokage and lead the village just like Indra wanted to be the Sage's successor and lead people. Indra chose a solitary life because of superiority complex, but Madara defected the village because of inferiority complex because he felt the Uchihas to be outclassed by the Senjus, and Uchiha's defection from the clan. Sasuke had his own purpose for leaving the village, to attain power and kill his brother. The motives of a person aren't really a part of reincarnation because they are more related to the circumstances in life. All three had different reasons for defection, but all three chose solitude and revenge. Sasuke's aim now resembles Indra's because he wants to protect Konoha by becoming Hokage and if he couldn't his purpose, he would attempt to kill Naruto, just like Indra wanted to carry out the Sage's will of establishing peace and when he was not chosen, he attempted to kill Ashura. But Madara completely wants to destroy Konoha, even now. Madara was never hungry of power. He never believed that might was the key to peace. He just wanted to control the world by genjutsu, not by might. But Sasuke was power hungry and that's why he left the village. He believed in power, just like Indra who believed that with power anything was possible.
