So in the War Arc (and maybe earlier) we've seen Sasuke get hurt real bad and Karin has always been there to his rescue. She goes like, "Hey, bite me!" and Sasuke is magically healed within a short span of time. That has happened more than once in the manga and made me think what if getting healed like that is not such a simple process (which only involves chakra). Maybe some of Karin's DNA slipped into Sasuke and got stored somewhere in him (or the chakra fused with some of his cells and the body accepted the change rather than oppose it (since "biting Karin" had been a frequent process somewhere in the middle of the war arc).
We have also seen Sasuke always getting annoyed around Karin when she gets all touchy and stuff. I don't think by the end of the war arc that might have changed, though he underwent a change of heart. I think Sasuke, however "evil" and "honor-less" he has been in the eyes of non-Sasuke fans, cannot do such a thing, laying down with Karin.
The claim in the first paragraph would prove Sarada's features. I recall a line from the latest manga which says something about evolution "only the better DNA is carried on to the projeny". I have always found Sasuke to be a handsome young man and Karin way much hotter and prettier than Sakura, so that would explain the looks.
About the spectacles, it could have been a parting gift from Karin to Sasuke (along with the photograph of the Takas) as I don't think Sasuke is a man who would carry a photograph all the way to Konoha (since he never was shown to be much attached to them). Maybe, Karin visited Sakura after the baby was born and learnt that she had a weak eyesight and so gave her spectacles for Sarada as a gesture of her love for Sasuke.
