Hinata has only used healing jutsu in anime filler, although being a Hyuga, using basic healing jutsu would be a snap for her.

Well, one this that interested me aside from you connecting the strings to her speech was the chakara issue.

We both know people have always been on about that and if shes going to do this for Naruto it indicates that chakara is not an issue for her anymore. Or never was XD. Other than that i have nothing to question about the purpose of this thread directly relating to her speech.

I mostly now am excited for team 7 reunion and what role she will possibly play in this. What will she do when she sees Sasuke? Also her ties with Tsunade and such.

She already has that part in development you're all looking for, but it just seem that it doesn't suit your tastes. Sakura isn't a one-centric character and this is why you see people from two sides of the camp. Either hating her, either liking her. She isn't a satellite character. She didn't lie about her confession, author proved. She just hide the truth about the Sasuke decision. Two different things. And the reason she did it was clear: to not hurt Naruto, emotionally. Because you do remember his reaction when Gaara told him the truth. He went hyperventilating. That is what she was trying to keep Naruto off. And many other things.

You can't both be right.
Some of them are haters, you are a fan, but some of them are pretty objective like I am. Basically the very simple argument I made -> top guns coming means the alliance and the alliance's feelings are irrelevant which in turn means that whatever Sakura said is irrelevant too <- is enough to prove that at least as far as the plot is concerned, Sakura's speech has no impact at all.

Yes, the Alliance come and within them, a really great character that everyone likes who happens to be a representative in this whole pivotal role of Sakura. Hashirama Senju. There's another thing people missed that was given to us through her speech.
But I guess people are more interested in battles and visually-appealing things rather then relevance, meaning and such, right?!

I've seen dozens of threads closed for comments much more tame than this. Maybe it's just because moderators didn't make those threads. There's bashing and language in here too. Quite a few rules have been broken over the course of this thread, just saying.

I do agree Sakura's sppech was good, but saying it's one of the best is too much. Gaara's, Kakashi's Hinata's, Itachi's sppeches to Naruto or others have had a bigger impact on them & plot.

I'm honestly quite shocked someone would manage a wall of text with only a three-page speech.

Though it's still a great thread nonthe less, I just think you wrote too much than needed, I think everyone got the message of Sakura's speech.

The reason she was placed there is because she has to stay in the back. But it's more convenient to think that "because Sasuke is coming", right?

However, if it would've been because of Sasuke, then why have it earlier in the exact same time when Minato lands, thus, making Sakura witness and participate in another of his important key part of his life? Guessed you missed the other half of the manga where she learns about Naruto's pains, burdens, Jinchuuriki status, so on and so forth.
I would want to say that you truly missed the part. It was about how to NOT supress your feelings, which both Naruto and Kakashi did.

Ino is a medical ninja too.She put her life at risk and got in the front lines more than once.And she is a side character.I understand the 'codes' of the medical nins,but do you understand what you are reading?It's a war,that will determine the outcome of the whole ninja world.But Sakura can't fight in a battle,cause the codes tell her that she needs to stay behind and heal the wounded?News!There won't be any wounded for her to heal if Madara and Obito gets their way on this fight.
Yes,the only reason she gets more panel time is because team 7 will reunite on the battlefield and somehow,Kishi has to remind us that she is there too.There are way too many speeches on this arc,important ones that had great meanings.Sakura just repeated something that Naruto,Kakashi,Hinata and Neji already mentioned.
Minato appeared on the battlefield,where Naruto is surrounded by shinobis.His reunion with his father will be witnessed by the whole ninja world,not just Sakura.And I believe Minato is an important part for team 7,for reasons I won't explain here, since it will get way off topic.
I guess you failed to read properly.I said Sakura follows the rules and codes WITHOUT FULLY SUPPRESSING her emotions.Kakashi does that.Naruto does that.Sasuke does that,but in a wrong way.Most shinobis do that.Only Itachi didn't seem to do it (speaking for the most important characters of the manga).
