Keep in mind, this is NOT A CHARACTER BASHING
Well, I don't have anything against Sakura receiving a power boost. In fact I was really disappointed when
she was left behind in part 2 after Sasori's battle. We have a feeling that she is useless because she doesn't go to the battlefront, but it isn't that way. She's a medical ninja, and so as one she needs to stay behind healing. Doesn't matter if it's lame role for her,it's a vital point.
But there are some flaws here that many have already pointed out. In Pain's arc, she only healed people. Well, that's ok, since she could have felt that she would be more usefull healing the injured people than having a pointless match against Nagato.
But right after that, when she tried to take out Sasuke,alone, she tried it with only a poisoned kunai? Really? Where was this "hidden power"? Why didn't she use it that time?
The only reasonable explanation would be that she didn't know it yet. But let's recap : The war arc began right after that event. Tsunade was very, very busy with all the Kage's meeting and plans. So the only explanation for her training, would be she was sent to the "Slug's place" as was Naruto, and some Slug Sage taught her that special ability. Could be Tsunade's Regeneration or some kind of Slug Sage Mode.
Regardless any of these things, that power would be pointless. Why?
I'm going to explain.
It's almost sure to say that Sakura's ability will somehow, remember Tsunade. It will be close-quarters combat with an high regeneration and unbelievable strength.
HOW IN HEAVENS, could this style fit the Sasuke's Amaterasu Spam/Susano'o Arrow Shot Spam or BM Naruto BD spam??? She will be massacred. Sasuke could care less about her, but Naruto will hold back in fear of hitting her.
So, I still think Sakura would serve a better purpose if she just stayed behind and heal Naruo or Sasuke if any of them got injuried, and in the worst scenario, where them both are fallen, she would arise and defend them(Just as in the chunnin exams)
