I understand many of you have no intentions to change your opinion on Sakura. That's okay - I don't give a ****. However, many people are interested in how I feel about endgame pairings and Sakura's character as a whole because my NARUTO opinions are derived from rationale and logic. I am also pretty popular on NF so my voice has some weight in this matter. I get bombarded by PMs every day on this particularly silly subject matter even though I never cared too much for pairings or shipped any particular one. So, I'll share my thoughts and put an end to this.
I feel like the best way to talk about this is to address common complaints, so I'll just do that.
1. "She has no self-respect."
A common misconception. This is Sakura rejecting a ninja during the war.

Instead of giving this ninja a chance - someone who wrote her a letter and might very well have died the next day - she still thought she deserved Sasuke. This is egotistical and prideful, quite the opposite of lacking self-respect.
Think about this from an outside perspective. Sasuke is a great looking guy, was popular with girls in school, and even attracted female criminals (Karin) after becoming a missing-nin. Sakura is so full of herself that she thinks she deserves this top of the line prodigal Uchiha and pinnacle target of the female ninja dating game. Everybody wants Sasuke. But what makes Sakura special? Her never-ending persistence.
2. "She sets a bad example for relationship standards because of the relationship's abusive background."
We already determined that Sakura has an ego. This means she stood up for herself yet she kept running to a criminal who made it clear he was dangerous and could kill her at any moment. As someone who has dated many girls, I know there is a niche market for dominant-submissive relationships and Sakura perfectly fits the bill. This uniqueness made Sakura's character interesting, in my opinion, because it added this sort of odd, weird dimension to her.
If you want further proof that Sakura likes this kind of thing, then think to when Sasuke psychologically destroyed her with that genjutsu. Sakura still came after the guy and healed him. Then when Sasuke tried to apologize, she told him to "shut up." After he repeated the apology, she asked "[you're] sorry...? for what?" Do you see where I'm going with this? This kind of dominance is what Sakura has wanted all long.
3. "But I wanted to look up to Sakura as a strong female character."
Not exactly the type of relationship you wanted Sakura to be in? Well, you aren't exactly Sakura.
In this age of social justice and feminism, we associate a strong female with someone who stands up for herself and advocates for her human rights. If we talk about these same strong females and how they fit into relationships, we get into sort of a grey area. What you don't realize is that some females like Sakura don't want equality in a relationship because they are attracted to that concept of inferiority. Just like some men want to be dominated by women in relationships because they get off on it. This isn't the norm by any means, it's just a psychological deviation in arousal. You had this idea of what Sakura should be because of societal issues going on in your area, but you forgot the most important element of all: humans, by nature, are unique. You were under the impression that Sakura should act one way because, in your mind, it was what you would've done.
Lastly, let's look at SS shippers and the people that opposed SS. How do so many people hate this type of relationship but, at the same time, so many people yearn for it? The answer is simple: different people want different relationships. You can't just expect everyone to be in the same type of relationship (and nobody is). In a more relevant real-world example about how many women prefer a dominant-submissive relationship, 50 Shades of Grey's huge fanbase - that's all I have to say.
TL;DR: You just weren't thinking.
In my honest opinion, all of the above is what made her a great character. What you should hate is not Sakura, but the media that brainwashed you into thinking males/females should only be attracted to certain traits and only conform to a specific type of relationship. That is the underlying issue.

Her character isn't that bad. She's like a 8/10
