Why people hate Danzo Shimura ?

Danzo was a true definition of a Shinobi. Why he is so hated by the Fanbase ?

When you see a Video on YouTube about Danzo , you can read in the comment « **** Danzo » « He is an ******* »

For example Orochimaru isn't hated , but he is a very great criminal. Technically he is more detestable than Danzo.

Pretty much agree but people think shinobi are meant to be some noble creatures, theure not and Danzo showed what it means to be a shinobi.

He was loyal to the village but his methods were wrong. He always took preemptive action solely based on suspicion and those actions most of the time were too extreme and could've been handled in many other better ways. In the long run those decisions did more harm to the village than help.
