Why Orochimaru is a bad villain compared to Obito, Madara, Pein...

how you compare someone like Obito to Orochimaru ?

Obito was villian and start akatsuki and the war for just a freaking girl " because you let rin die " lame reason

madara is another copy of Nagato same idea " i want peace blah blah blah "

while Orochimaru keep trolling the ninja world and he is pure evil

look how he put sharingans in danzo arms and give him senju DNA
same with Yamato same with madara with senju DNA

he use people as a puppets
killed many people for TEST projects

and poisoning the little kids minds

it's kinda funny when you say that he was the first villian and we went to the better villians

first villian = always the best villian

thats why kishi brought him back
because he felts that obito is not that good as villian

I know coming in, you guys are like WTF Mr. Snake Penis is the best villain we have had in Naruto. I disagree and will explain why. What exactly is an antagonist or a villain to begin with? It is an obstacle that stops the protagonist from achieving a goal. What is Naruto's goal? To become Hokage and World Peace. How does Oro stand in his way? Exactly...

Second Oro has no real back story. He is evil because... he is evil, and likes snakes. Obito lost a loved one which may sound stupid but in actuality it really isn't. Madara was betrayed by him family (clan) and lost his brother for no reason. That would cause hatred. Pein lost a loved one and his family. Sasuke lost his brother, his family and is lost. Oro likes snakes.

Oro isn't a fleshed out character, and in my oppinon he is a bad villain. hbu? discuss debate enjoy

This is completely subjective. The reasons you give for him being a bad villain are the reason I see him as the best villain. Personally I find that his complete lack of reasoning and love of chaos are what make him so loveable as a villain. It's sort of like why I loved the joker so much in the batman franchise (particularly the Dark Knight trilogy). He had no real reason to be evil, he just was, and it made him that much more menacing. He wanted nothing but chaos and discord, while the other villains were working towards what they thought would achieve peace.

to become the complete creature as he said

and to do this , you have to make alot of experiments
using people as puppets , and manipulating everyone for his own benfit

he is not far away from his dream Now

Pure evil yes, but with no justification it is kinda stupid if you ask me. But Oro is awesome in his own right.

I understand where you are coming from, and I would agree BUT Orochimaru isn't like Joker in some manner. Oro was a prodigy and is sane to some degree, Joker is just a maniac. Nice justfication though.

Still no justification to why he is evil. He was a prodigy who everyone looked up to, then suddenly I want to be perfect.

If people think Obito is a bad villan because he got friendzoned, STFU Orchimaru went on this rampage of destruction because he didnt become hokage

I agree but one little alteration I wish to make. I believe Obito is 'evil' because he wants to create a world without sufferring through evil methods - what originally motivated him was the death of someone he cared dearly about (Rin.)

What is this nonsense about Oro being "pure evil"? The last chapter showed very clearly he isn't. Someone who is pure evil wouldn't become nostalgic about his hometown and just destroy it.

Also, people claiming Obito, Nagato etc. are bad villains because of their "crap sob stories" apparently don't understand this manga at all. The villains being tragic figures with the possibility to change their ways is completely in tune with Naruto's ninja way of overcoming hatred towards one another and bring peace...

Though i do question how you consider Orochimaru to be "sane." He's a sociopath, completely void of any love or affection towards anyone. He kills people for looking at him wrong and starts wars and turns entire villages against one another, just because he can. He said it himself, he grows bored when there isn't war and turmoil in the world. The guys pretty sick in the head.
