why naruto may not become hokage(yet)

1. I agree with people who said he won't become Hokage till after he gets Sasgay back
2. Shikamaru, a clear Hokage choice as stated earlier in manga
3. Kakashi, I don' think he is dead yet and he would be an excellent Hokage
4. Naruto will eventually surpass the 4th in battle ability and heroism, maybe leadership, but he will turn down the Hokage position when offered because, in his final step of maturation he will realize it is more important to protect the village than keep his word, and he will find someone more suited to be Hokage than him to take his place, and he will be like J man.

and I think that kakashi will become hokage, not shikamaru...

They both are extremely clever, kakashi once said ( in the fight vs deidera) that he was has clever has Shikamaru ( even if I think he was exaggerating), so the only difference his their experience, and maybe a little bit of cleverness from shika

Anyway I think Naruto will become hokage but not until the very end of the manga. Tsunade isn't dead yet there still is some time. He's strong enough to be hokage, and so far from the Pein fight he looks like he is in better control of his emotions but I don't think he's there quite yet.
