i know some of you want to cry foul immediately but im going to explain why naruto isnt a hardworker or an underdog and NEVER WAS.
people think he is simply because it was told to them.. over and over and over and over again to the point that they were indoctrinated into thinking it was true. naruto isnt either of those things. ill list then explain why 1. body of the sage 2. asura incarnation/host 3. kyuubi 4. tailed beasts 5. genius parents 6. genius teachers 7. free power ups.
now ill get thre pre time skip stuff out of the way where the BULK of the hard working nonsense is that was later prooved to be simply not true.
little kid naruto: he had a rough life no one liked him and the like however this doesnt equate to being the underdog or hardworking. all he needed to do was prove he wasnt the bad person they thought he was (which he does later) instead he wasted his time pranking and vandalizing things giving people a valid reason not to like him. yes he lost sparring fights to sasuke however this naruto never really trained so ofcourse hed lose to the sauce man and in either case they are barely older than toddlers his body hasnt developed yet enough to be a failure or success.
genin naruto: this is probably one of the third biggest hypocrite version of him. this is the one that old konohamaru that theres no short cuts yet was the same one who basically stole a scroll full of cheat codes so he could become a genin. yes he learned things and he learned them fast however thats a testimate to his naturally powerful body, good genes, and great teachers. nothing was hard for him except when someone ELSE made it hard for him example. when he tried to learn water walking it was only tough because the seal messing up his chakra when it was removed he mastered it instantly. another example when he tried learning summoning it wasnt hard jiraiya was just making him try to summon with almost no chakra. this guy was chunin level and able to fight kage level people like gaara (albeit kazekage level)
early time skip naruto: he didnt have to work for anything he just needed to get mad and daddy kurama would take care of EVERYTHING for him. the only thing he worked for was wind style rasengan which again he got fairly easily because of his body it only took what was supposed to take years a few days. true he was weaker than sasuke but then again this naruto was already jonin level easily
sage mode naruto: this one is supposedly supposed to be the pinnacle of his hard work. however it was pretty much literally said that if you dont have high chakra reserves and a strong body you cant master this.. and guess what naruto was born with more than anyone else? chakra and a strong body.. he had 4 times more chakra than kakashi as a kid if im not mistaken no telling how much it increased when he turned into a teenager especially when you count kurama. he also mastered this in less than a week it had nothing to do with hard work when u have a god body that can handle it. heck even madara mastered sm in an instant with his god body this guy is kage level
kcm-bsm: no need to really go into detail. his mom and killer bee pretty much saved his ass and helped him "beat" kurama for a power up that he also pretty much instantly mastered. there was only one instance of him "not having full control over it" and that was when he blitzed kisame and his foot got stuck that only happened simply because he didnt know how fast he was with his new power. after that every form of this was instant mastered. heck he even had zero trouble balancing his chakra, spirit energy, senjutsu, and kuramas full power once kurama let him use sm. this one is high kage level
rsm: need i really explain this one? die and become a freaking godly god slayer stronger than all the other sky gods? his power level still doesnt make to much sense if he had the sun and moon seals on his own hands im almost 100% certain he couldve beaten both madara and kaguya in 1v1 fights.
