He works harder than Sasuke. Everything Sasuke has was "given" to him.

Natural talent from being an Uchiha

Learning chidori and Lee's taijutsu from sharingan and Kakashi

Curse Mark from Oro

Snake Summons from Oro

MS + Amaterasu from Itachi

EMS are Itachi's eyes. After Sasuke was a reckless dickhead and used up his eyes in a single day.

Rinnegan from Hagormo

Everyone in naruto borrows power that's not the problem .I'm talking about how he went from a loser who barely manged to learn rasengan to a genius who is able to merge his chakra with someone else's on the first try.........

Indeed, that theme went out of the window eventually when Naruto's heritage and all that prophecy stuff came up. Also, I guess Kishi tried to make Naruto like Asura in the sense of getting strong thanks to others.

so you're basically sayin that kishi's description of the main character were incorrect ?if so that's just means that he's a bad writer not that naruto wasn't a loser.....

How this was even perpetuated is beyond me, but I'm going in.

Naruto, besides Rock Lee and Maito Gai, is the hardest in the series and that's a fact. People like to pretend having Kurama sealed inside Naruto was some kind of an upgrade, when it fact was a huge setback to Naruto. Besides Kurama being a huge detriment to Naruto's chakra control, not allowing him to reach even basic levels of shinobi-hood, and the ever looming threat of him turning into the Kyuubi at any oppurtunity, his day to day life was hard work. It is described quite well in another thread (x), but I'll reiterate it here. As we know, Naruto grew up with nobody but himself and had no idea why he had no parents and why the world treated him like a disease. This kind of psychological torture is enough to break grown men, let alone small children. To have to raise yourself and suffer the way Naruto has is a feat of it's own. Jinchuriki are exceptionally strong people, not because of the Bijuu within them, but because of their mental fortitude and ability to press on in life. The life of a Jin broke Gaara, but he was put on the correct path by Naruto. Because, no matter how many of you chumps think solitude and self-reliance is the way, it's not. Kurama was a curse on Naruto that nobody BUT Naruto could overcome because of Naruto's magnetic personality and outlook on life. He triumphed over his misery and conquered the hate within him, something people in reality can't even do.

What's more, he TOOK Kurama's power. He trained specifically with Jiraiya to summon the Kyuubi's chakra. He fought Kurama to drain his power and take what was rightfully his, what made his life a living hell. He scrapped with the Bijuu and earned their respect and friendship. He trained his ass off for Sage Mode, nearly dying at every turn and only through his perseverance and attitude was he only able to master this technique.

Naruto's ideals and outlook on life are what make him special. THAT'S why he is able to change the hearts of his enemies and that is true strength. This is how he was able to get this far, how he was able to become the man people need him to be and that he wants to be for those he loves.

Try a little empathy. Imagine yourself in Naruto's shoes, alone in a world where a step outside is met with gazes of contempt of hatred. People want you dead and treat you like a pestilence every step you take. You finally learn there's a monster inside you and THAT'S what spawned the lows of your existence and stole your parents from you. You train your ass off to reach the point needed to combat that moster, fight it and win, then use it as your own. Then some asswipe says to you, "Nah, borrrowed power". Not only is that insulting on moral grounds, but it's ridiculous based on what actually happened. Naruto wasn't born with Bijuu Mode; he wasn't Kage level at 12 years old, was he?

What's more, Naruto's core theme and central idea is not "hard work > genius" as some believe. That belongs SOLELY to Lee/Gai. Naruto's CORE THEME is unity and cooperation and overcoming obstacles. And Naruto embodies this 100% to a T as he's bested every roadblock in his life with flying colors through his blessed demeanor and willingness to always strive for a better day, no matter what it takes.

basically in Naruto some category of people are born with potential and only they can succeed even though all those muh hardwork from Lee and Hinata,Sakura and Naruto himself other who try to work hard are unoriginal and never can be as good as those special people.

Not important but it was a theme lee and Naruto wanted to show hard work beats natural talent back in part 1.

Well i guess having dead genius parents is a good thing...
Having monster who tries to take your life every day is a good thing...
Having the whole village hate you is a good thing...

PS. He can control those power if his chakra wasnt disturb by kurama.

nothing about this thread has to do anything with anything you just said involving something being a good thing or a bad thing.

he did NOT work harder than sasuke they literally had the same amount of handed out power ups it just so happens that narutos were better so he only needed fewer.

1. body of naturally strong people with amazing stamina

Only Kushina had amazing Stamina.

2. inherited massive chakra reserves from his mom

True.

3. born with a monster that has infinite power

And which was curse for him all his life before KCM training

4. every teacher he ever had was a master genius etc

Only Kakashi was a genius

5. everytime he struggled with anything his power battery of a monster decided to help him and made all of his troubles go away sasuke didnt and never did have this

Also Sasuke had no monster which tried to kill him every time when he use his power.

6. could only learn most of the things he learned because his body

Only FRS...

7. given power by a god and for some reason made him many times stronger than someone who received the same from from the same god

True.

8. 8 other power battery monsters that wanted to help him because he was nice to them.

Naruto proved by his actions that he deserves their powers.

You people don't really get what an underdog really is. It's someone others expect to lose and that was what happened during part 1. No one said anything about that being the theme for part 2, because Kishi wanted people to start acknowledging Naruto during part 2, he was supposed to become better for his role of Hokage and that's why the underdog theme didn't exist anymore during part 2. He already proved himself to his friends, but he needed to let the world recognize his feats, otherwise he wouldn't become the greatest Hokage of all if kept the underdog theme.

He did train during academy days, but he trained all by himself that's why he didn't progress much. The only times he did start showing results was when he had guidance or knew what to do (the scroll), but he did train all the time to get his power ups, until BM, BSM and RSM, but that all happened during two days and he had to get used to his power while fighting the enemy. You can see in the last that Naruto got way better at using his power, because he trained afterwards. If he had mastered his power during the war, he would've fought like he did during the last.

So other than BM or BSM and RSM, he did train for his other abilities, even if he learned them faster than other people doesn't mean that he didn't train hard for his ability. All his training was hard.

1. body of the sage 2. asura incarnation/host

Those are both the same thing, and Naruto did not unlock this chakra without training himself.

3. kyuubi

He couldn't even control the kyuubi until the war arcs and even that was achieved by warming up to Kurama over time.

4. tailed beasts

And Sasuke was given the Rinnegan. Point?

5. genius parents

It was already stated Naruto didn't inherit Minato's genius and had to experience and be taught things to become combatant, creative and strategic.

6. genius teachers

All the K 12 were given genius teachers.

7. free power ups.

Every shinobi in the series was given powerups on account that every shinobi and their lineage were blessed by Hagoromo's ninshuu chakra.

now ill get thre pre time skip stuff out of the way where the BULK of the hard working nonsense is that was later prooved to be simply not true.

Whatever floats your boat.

little kid naruto: he had a rough life no one liked him and the like however this doesnt equate to being the underdog or hardworking. all he needed to do was prove he wasnt the bad person they thought he was (which he does later) instead he wasted his time pranking and vandalizing things giving people a valid reason not to like him.

People hated him anyway because he had the kyuubi in him lols just like Gaara, who was innocent at that age. He was a kid with no parents and shunned by everyone. To cope, he did pranks to be noticed. Duh.

yes he lost sparring fights to sasuke however this naruto never really trained so of course hed lose to the sauce man and in either case they are barely older than toddlers his body hasnt developed yet enough to be a failure or success.

Did you even read the manga, or did you just skim it or read the plot off wiki? Lols. He showed from a very young age that he conditioned his body like all the other K 11, he just had no talent. It's like someone who trains to be a runner, but there are several others who are just better. Even more accurate would be someone who goes to writing school, but can't create coherent stories because writing just isn't their forte.

genin naruto: this is probably one of the third biggest hypocrite version of him. this is the one that old konohamaru that theres no short cuts yet was the same one who basically stole a scroll full of cheat codes so he could become a genin.

He also trained like every other technique to actually use shadow clones. Minato "stole" the FTG technique and perfected it, unlike Tobirama. Same with Orochimaru and Kabuto with Edo Tensei. Same with Sasuke with Chidori. And the same techniques in all clans are passed down from generation to generation.

yes he learned things and he learned them fast however thats a testimate to his naturally powerful body, good genes, and great teachers.

Most shinobi in Konoha possess these. All the same, he had to work to unlock his chakra, strengthen his body and become skilled.

nothing was hard for him except when someone ELSE made it hard for him example.

He struggled a great deal in most of his fights before the war saga actually.

when he tried to learn water walking it was only tough because the seal messing up his chakra when it was removed he mastered it instantly.

So by this logic, anyone with the sharingan or any other Kekkei Genki is not an underdog, correct? Oh wait, they have to train such techniques as well or they lose control of them like Haku, or just plain suck at them like Hinata.

another example when he tried learning summoning it wasnt hard jiraiya was just making him try to summon with almost no chakra.

Uh, no. He struggled with it because as was stated and shown at the time, he could not control his chakra well.

this guy was chunin level and able to fight kage level people like gaara (albeit kazekage level)

Yes, after he trained to summon Gamabunta.

early time skip naruto: he didnt have to work for anything he just needed to get mad and daddy kurama would take care of EVERYTHING for him.

I see. So his new rasengan, genjutsu awareness, bukijutsu and taijutsu did not improve, even though he was able to get the bells from Kakashi while holding his own and resist Itachi's genjutsu? I think you're thinking of the haki fruit characters from One Piece lols. *ewww all dem dagger eyes on me at the moment.* Lols.

the only thing he worked for was wind style rasengan which again he got fairly easily because of his body it only took what was supposed to take years a few days. true he was weaker than sasuke but then again this naruto was already jonin level easily

It's called rasenshuriken, and no, he didn't learn it quick because of his body, but because of his mass shadow clone technique, which he also trained to master. And his body was actually shredded from using it and he wasn't able to use it again without any risk until he obtained senjutsu mode, which he also trained for lols. He had a jonin level technique. That doesn't mean he was jounin all around, which he wasn't lols.

sage mode naruto: this one is supposedly supposed to be the pinnacle of his hard work. however it was pretty much literally said that if you dont have high chakra reserves and a strong body you cant master this.. and guess what naruto was born with more than anyone else?

Same for Jiraiya, Gai, Dai and Lee. Guess they weren't underdogs either, hm?

chakra and a strong body.. he had 4 times more chakra than kakashi as a kid if im not mistaken no telling how much it increased when he turned into a teenager especially when you count kurama.

When was it stated he had four times more chakra than Kakashi? Links please? Only a bit of Kurama's chakra leaked into at the time and he could only use the cloak when he became pissed or badly hurt.

he also mastered this in less than a week

It took Naruto years of training with Iruka, Kakashi and Jiraiya to master chakra control. Stop making things up and generalizing them lmao.

it had nothing to do with hard work when u have a god body that can handle it.

Jiraiya, Gai, Lee, Dai, Minato, the Raikages and so on and so forth did not have god bodies.

heck even madara mastered sm in an instant

That was because he had Hashirama's clone attached to him.

kcm-bsm: no need to really go into detail. his mom and killer bee pretty much saved his ass and helped him "beat" kurama for a power up that he also pretty much instantly mastered.

Guess that means he's an underdog after all. :p Actually, Killer Bee was routed and Kushina's chains were broken. About all they could do was defend him for a moment. They didn't defeat Kurama, Naruto did. Of course he mastered it. Kurama's chakra had been naturally melding with Naruto's his whole life, he just couldn't control all of it at once. He even said the chakra cloak was just a piece of it.

rsm: need i really explain this one? die and become a freaking godly god slayer stronger than all the other sky gods?

Naruto didn't die. Sakura kept his heart beating until Obito transferred Kurama back to him. And he was unable to defeat Madara or Kaguya without Sasuke, Kakashi and Sakura's help.

in the end naruto is not really a hardworker he just wants you to believe it.

If that's what you "believe."

Well, that was a waste of my time...considering all you need is reading, comprehension and logic to debunk everything you stated. I didn't even need to link or look anything up.

And he never perfected a move. Even though he kept using rasengan and rasenshuriken, he didn't fully mastered it until he used rasengan with one hand at the end of the manga or rasenshuriken during the last.
