the problem is not the versatility,neither his character,the problem is how kishi trolls naruto in every fight,making him have a new power just to face an oppenent way stronger than him and get beat down to the ground and look in need of help from others(FRS->kakuzu,SM->Pain,KM->obito+paths pefect jins,BM->madara with hashirama's wood.)
judging from naruto's current status and powers that's enough to make any fight look great,yet there comes kishi's pensil:
that made naruto forget nagato's abilities.
that made naruto get caught by a cripple when he has the best sensing ability and to tier speed.
that stopped naruto from using clones when it was the obvious strategy against obito.
that skip scenes always in order to jump when he gets trolled(against madara,he basically skipped all that time to jump where the wood dragon stops BM,and skipped all the fight with the alliance only to show them get trolled by a huge fire jutsu).
honestly i see in this manga naruto getting the short end of the stick each time he faces a guy with an eye power,i won't be exagerating if i say kishi is an uchiha fanboy.and that disgusts me about this manga.
