Let's take a trip down memory lane and recall Naruto's and Sasuke's journey so far:
Part I: Naruto
1- Joins the academy.
2- Becomes a part of Team 7 with Sakura and Sasuke.
3- Explains to Kakashi that he wants to be Hokage.
4- Participates in the Chunin Exams and does good.
5- Starts acting a badass and accepts Sasuke's challenge. (Naruto sure got punched a lot under those blankets)
6- Naruto tries to rescue Sasuke and his road to neediness for Sasuke begins.
Part I: Sasuke
1- Joins the academy thinks he's better than everyone else.
2- Becomes a part of Team 7 with Sakura and naruto.
3- Explains to Kakashi that he wants to kill his bother.
4- Participates in the Chunin Exams and does good.
5- Naruto starts acting a badass and sasuke realizes that he has become fodder for that boring naruto kid. (watch every fight Naruto and Sasuke team-up they both start naruto finished while the third member of the team did absolutely nothing - we looking at you Sakura.)
6- Sasuke gets butt-hurt goes emo and then runaway because the less skill fighter is kicking his ass in wins. The road of darkness for Sasuke begins. (Have you heard this story somewhere?)
Part II: Naruto
1- Returns home and all he can think about right away is Sasuke, instead of chasing Hinata and Sakura.
2- Gets a boner when he sees Sasuke for the first time in 2 1/2 years.
3- Tries to master the RS, so that he doesn't feel inferior to Sasuke. Finally, Naruto learns wind! (2 1/2 yrs for nothing)
4- Naruto blasts Kakazu with RS. (That was my first Naruto Shippuden Moment with Naruto)
5- Naruto tries to chase Sasuke down, but fails and punches the Uchiha monument stone in anger and shame.
6- Naruto fights Pain after he invades the village (This was Naruto's best moment and i started to like his character)
7- Naruto begging the Raikage to leave Sasuke alone (That lost some swag points)
8- Naruto losing his tonsils and his ability to breathe after hearing that Sasuke is a wanted man. (Hee..Hoo..Hee..Hoo)
9- Naruto asking Sasuke to die with him...
10- Naruto saying "I'll be waiting for you, saucecakes." (creepy)
11- Saving the world and has been fighting for 2-3 days so far (biggest feat)
Part II: Sasuke
1- First decision, agrees to give Orochimaru his body instead of chasing Ino and Sakura.
2- Gets a boner when he sees Naruto for the first time in 2 1/2 years just to say "I'm better than you".
3- Sasuke changes his mind and defeats a crippled Orochimaru (This was Sasuke's best moment and i started to like his character, thought he was becoming a man.)
4- Itachi tells Naruto please take care of my lil-bro because he is weak-minded as f#ck.
5- Itachi throws the fight against his bother out of Love so he can stop being emo and follow his own path.
6- Sasuke meets Obito has one conversation... gets played like a fiddle. (damn still weak-minded as f#ck.)
7- Itachi comes back to life to tell his bother,"Why the f#ck you so weak-minded? Grow the hell up. You too old for this shit."
8- Sasuke returns to the village and has one conversation with Hashirama....changes his mind again. Mean While Naruto the boring guy is saving the world and has been fighting for 2-3 days. (Dude, your bother died twice so you can make up your mind).
9- Sasuke proclaiming out of the blue I want to be your leader now! (while the rest of the ninja-world is like "No freaking way", I smell some butt-hurt coming which probably means he will change his mind again.)
Let's face a sad fact. Naruto is vanilla true but sasuke is a non-factor for most of the story line other than....being naruto's rival. Which makes him just as boring. When you difine who is Sasuke(drum roll please); Naruto's Rival.
