Sasuke motives are the driving part of the story that made alot of people stick with it until late shippuden and even now. I personally never liked Naruto since day 1. The only thing that seemed cool about him was the fox, yes he has gotten better but he can still be annoying. So all in all never really enjoyed his character outside the Pein fight. He is way to generic and his moveset for a main character is boring and lack luster.
