Why Naruto has Hashirama arm

I made a thread earlier this year explaining how Senju and Uzumaki represent separate but equal halves of Ashura's power.

As an RSM user Ashura had the full power of nature like JuubiJins, Naruto's relationship with bjuu represented Ashura being one with animals while Hashirama's mokuton represented Ashura being one with plant life.

By having Hashirama's arm Naruto basically has both halves of Ashura's power, he represents being one with wildlife as well as one with the Forrests which essentially makes him a being fully one with nature like JuubiJins.

Kishi sucks at plot development but you can't deny he knows how to be consistent with manga themes to the finest detail.

senju/uzamaki are six path yang half but Naruto and Hashirama are ashura on top of all that (transmigrants). So he's not going to have an additional Ashura power on top of what he already has.

There's more to that. kishi always has a reason whenever it concerns power ups.


Having Mokuton affinity and compatibility with bijuus makes him a complete nature god which is what Ashura and JuubiJins were.

I never said he had additional power ups, in fact it's the opposite, BSM Naruro and SM Hashirama represent two halves of ashura's full power like Indra and Adhura representing two halves of Hagoromo's power.

Plants and animals are two separate aspects of nature and life, being one with both means being fully one with nature like the Juubi's and Six Path Senjutsu users.

By havig Hashirama's powe Naruto essentially possesses the full power of a JuubiJin like Ashura.

Nope, he wouldn't have Mokuton which is the affinity of JuubiJins, Obito stated that having the Sage's body meant having the power of a JuubiJin which means Ashura had Mokuton which makes sense because Hashi's genes and chakra are Ashura's in the first place.

In addition, Mokuton provides the healing feats Naruto lacks without the yang seal, as proven by Obito and Zetsu it enables the user to regenerate any body part with practically no limit which is a feat only people with the JuubiJin's power are capable of.


Naruto requires Hashi's power to have Hagoromo's full body feats like how Sasuke has Hagoromo's full eye feats.

Since mokuton is originally the Juubi's affinity, Naruto needed Hashi's arm to have the full scope of Hagoromo's body.

Naruto can preform "Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu" using only a single hand. Which he learned in-between the time where he lost his arm and got a new one. Its stated during the opening page of Kakashi Hiden when Naruto attacks Garyo's hideout. So no, he just got a new arm because he wanted one.

Well I mean, they might have had that. As either Madara or Izuna possessed "Kagetuchi" as Tobirama was knew how the jutsu looked and it's name without ever being told of it's existence by Sasuke. Hence, he had seen it before his own death and the only two people that could've had it would be Madara or Izuna. So it is perfectly possible that another Senju possessed Mokuton or that Indra possessed "Kagetuchi".

So it would be better to say that we don't know a single other character than Hashirama who have possessed Mokuton naturally.
