naruto used to be really well written and relatable he was born with a burden that made the people around him hate him and he didn't know why

he always stood up for what he believed in and I respected that but now I just cant

When he got his new powers from the six paths he was ruined for me.....let me explain when he fought neji in the exams he showed neji that you don't have to go along with your destiny and that anyone can do something if they try hard enough (this was shown when naruto beat neji a genius when neji should have been way out of his league) and this gave neji hope that things could be different

this was all negated by the fact that naruto is the reincarnation of asura and was destined for greatness this totaly undermined the whole thing with neji and gave his whole I wont give up on sasuke thing even less ground

he has been a disappointment and I dont see how there is gonna be a final showdown with sasuke now they both have lost their motivation for fighting each other

The theme for the character Naruto is to never give up and the manga has been loyal to that

Also this is called '' Progress over time '' We can't stick with the old stuff, that's like old people saying they still want the vehicles from the late 50's.. Things evolve and so does the manga.

Yes it has become less then it used to be, but the main thing is still there and that is Naruto's resolve and that is kinda what the whole serie is based on..

This would be accurate if Naruto's ideals have subsided. However, he remains with the same mind set he had from the very beginning. By the way, just cause Naruto & Sasuke are a bit preoccupied with Kaguya, doesn't mean that they still don't wanna tango later on.

It's not just Naruto's character, it's more like the whole Naruto manga has become terrible ever since Juubito's defeat. It should've ended at that point.

No you're wrong, Naruto main theme is to prove that he can overcome the obstacle through hardwork which strive him to never give up.

You misunderstood the Neji thing entirely. Naruto wasn't saying that destiny is baloney and the whole concept should be discarded, but that if your destiny is shitty, have the guts to work hard until you make it change.

it took this long to figure out that naruto was no underdog or hard worked and was destined to be a savior?

Naruto's destiny was to change his own destiny. That looks like it doesn't make sense (and maybe it doesn't), but I think it's true. Hagoromo power-ups don't change the fact that he worked hard and won over everyone around him. I don't think he was born as Ashura's reincarnation either. I want to believe that Ashura chose to manifest his essence within Naruto after he proved himself. I'm sorry if this is too inarticulate; I'll revise it or explain myself later or something

He inherited Ashura's need for companions. Him being destined for greatness is nothing but false words. The idea of Naruto is that you go against all odds and never give up, even when you're getting the absolute shit kicked out of you and to always have others at your side.

So what you're saying is that Naruto shall be taking this shortcut even though the fact that he did?? Really dude???

What? No. The F are you talking about? It seems comprehending reading isn't your forte.

What you were saying is the same as I said in short, His resolve.

I never talked about taking a shortcut or anything. Dumb MF.

asura decided to 'reincarnate' into naruto after seeing who naruto was, and what convinced asura to reincarnate into naruto was probably how naruto resembled him in having no talent, yet becoming stronger because of the people around him.

Think about it, asura had tons of reincarnations, and none of them were able to achieve the power that naruto has, heck none of them were even remotely as powerful as Hashirama considering the tales that were told of him. So obviously just having asura's soul possess you doesn't mean you'll get super powerful.

Plus, the whole 'destiny' thing with Neji was a huge misuse of the word anyway.

naruto become this powerful just because he did hardwork.SM , KCM , BM and BSM are all earned powers.

Even Current power-up is also earned power because naruto saved bijuus asses and they gave their fraction of chakra in return.

Tell me what ashura thing gave naruto?.. FRS?.. SM?.. KCM? Naruto made this far just because of hardwork So STFU kid

^This is the answer. Thank you for explaining it much more succinctly than I was able to

I have given out too much rep in the past 24 hours so I can't reward you :/ lol
