Here's a few of my thoughts on Narutos and Sasukes relationship (No homo ):

A parallel between the So6Ps sons and Naruto and Sasuke has been implied quite strongly, no?
Now, noone ever said one of the sons was evil, it's simply that they had different takes on life.

Theory: Following in their footsteps, Naruto is the "Body"- meaning his strength comes from
believing in his comrades and wanting to protect them, even at the cost of his own life. The whole
reasoning behind his ideology is "I believe what my master believed in." That's what we call Idealism.

Sasuke however is the "Eyes"- and as such his way to enlightenment is not through faith, but through
questioning his perception of reality and finding the truth on his own. His entire life has been a
journey leading him towards that truth. Orochimaru, Danzo, Obito, Team Eagle, Deidara, Itachi, as opposed
to Naruto, who always seems to get people to agree with him in the end, he was confronted with different
views on the world, with people who would not give him that reassurement, which makes Naruto so
confident in what he believes, and that what he does is right. Sasuke's not sure who he is, meaning he may
not need Naruto to save him. He might be able to do it all by himself.

Narutos understanding of the world is just far too different from Sasukes to ever get through to him, I believe
their past encounters have shown that. Even when Naruto gave his grand speech (ya know, the time Sakura
tried to kill Sasuke? God, just thinking about that still makes me wanna hit myself. What a horrible idea it was.),
Sasuke couldn't understand his reasons for still caring about him.

I would have agreed if it hadn't been for the things Sasuke said after Itachi imparted the I will always love you phrase. That was when he questioned his very actions. That one moment in which he wasn't 100% sure of himself gives me an indication Naruto still has a VERY small chance to help him! I am basically banking on that one self evaluation to turn Sasuke from a selfish avenger into at the very least an antihero. Otherwise I would agree they have very different views on life

Sasuke was always the odd man out in Konoha, I think he is the lone wolf type.

Ehhh... It's not impossible, especially for Naruto, an inheritor of the Will of Fire. :)

if there is no story arc after this one and the story ends here, i think won't even see a Naruto vs Sasuke fight, last fight will probably be with Sasuke's Susanoo vs Madara's Susanoo and Naruto (all tailed beasts chakra) vs the 10 tails, Sasuke wont go back to the village and disappear into the world, they're both going to break that cycle of hatred between the brothers

Yes, that's bothering me as well, I can't just write it off as Itachi clinging onto Naruto as the last hope of saving
his brother, because he despairs uppon realizing that he can't do it himself. I mean, come on! It's Itachi we're
talking about here. I do have a counterargument though: Sasuke has been "guided" by his brother for the msot part
of his life. those last words might simply be Sasukes chance to prove his brother wrong, to show him that he can
find his own way in the world. I always liked kishi for not being too idealistic (compared to other shonen writers), so
I hope he doesn't end this manga with Sasuke becoming yet another Naruto follower.

well the plot of naruto is his rise to hokage, which if he fails at would be a big let down...naruto has said he wont accept hokage until he returns sasuke....also he is never gonna give up...and since jman failed with oro it leads that in the end sasuke will be back.....and with reccent turn of events it seems like he will be bad until he fights naruto then he will realize that he wants to honor itachi instead of avenge him.....but i might be wrong

it seems sasuke will have one of 2 endings 1 become good go back to leaf, 2 die

I think this Sasuke is a "bad" clone who kidnapped the real Sasuke somewhere, so when Naruto kills this clone, the real one will be freed and all of them will live happily ever after.
