Itachi himself confessed that ..the person who is having the same eyes( i mean to say sharingan or M sharingan) as his or the person with kekei genkai ability can only defeat him...i think dis guy doesnt read the manga well...

For people who says "Amaterasu and over",
Minato can teleport from Amaterasu, pretty simple.

Why?

Because the moment Amaterasu hits something it becomes a physical essence, as it has been shown in the manga and anime. FTG allows Minato to teleport anything within contact or chose not to. For example, he teleported with Naruto, Kushina and Kyubi, but when Tobi had physical contact with him, Minato teleported away without taking him along.

So yeah, Amaterasu is not a problem to discuss, though Susano'o isn't either. Flying Thunder God allows the user to teleport anywhere within short range of the seal, I believe FTG is one of the jutsus capable of allowing the user to bypass Susanoo, though the user will require to put a seal on Susanoo beforehand.

Now, people say Sword of Totsuka (spelling) is one of the most fastest attacks with a long range. The sword is as fast as what a regular sword would be, just scale it out in a bigger perspective. The sword though, has the capability to extend, what speed? I do not know. What I can say though, is that Nagato reacted to the sword, but was unable to escape as he was unable to use his feet to escape.

Now, people forget how formidable Minato's base speed is without the aid of FTG, which is the fastest base speed in the Narutoverse. Fighting against such speed would be difficult even for an MS user.

Now, the strongest point of Itachi, is his prowess with Genjutsu, which without doubt gives him an upper hand in the fight. Though please, do not be an obstinate fanboy basing an entire fight on the usage of genjutsu.

This fight could go either way, but I feel Minato has the advantage.

FTG's weaknesses are genjutsu and a great defense and itachi has them both therefore itachi<minato

You CANNOT have both ways..

if you want minato to not look at itachi's eyes (which you have no basis on)
then he cannot possibly see amaterasu coming like raikage did, and he cannot ftg away from it


if you want him to look at itachi's eyes, he can dodge amaterasu, but he will get tsukyomi'd ....

i think itachi will win but i have a question. we all know tha amaterasu is a slow burn so minato could get hit by amaterasu but then just teleport away. tobi had a hold on him but he still teleported without taking him with him.

look at tobi sitting infront of those KAGELEVEL shinobi like a boss and no one dares to attack him when they saw raikage failed attempt to hit him. those shinobi got a lot of POWERFULL jutsu. same with itachi who dont dare to lay a hand on TOBI. while minato use only 2 simple FTG and Rasengan kicks tobi's ass

I don't think Itachi could take on Kurama and Tobi by himself. If they couldn't take on Jiraiya, then Itachi alone couldn't be able to take on Minato. Simple as it is.

FTG not requiring much chakra is such bull shit (Not saying this isn't how it works I just think the mechanic is stupid) honestly the amount of energy required to bend space and time should be astronomical.

The risk/cost to benefit ratio is so insane it's ridiculous, and completely over powered.

Basically Minato is 'hax' and is as powerful as he is due to plot no jutsu.

And then you still think he'll have enough to use these attacks on Minato? And if Minato puts seals on the floor or wall, you think Itachi will use Amatersau on these places? If Minato puts a seal on Itachi, what will he do, use Amaterasu on himself so that Minato cannot teleport onto him?

He outlasts Itachi with FTG. Itachi cannot keep up his impenetrable Susanoo defence for a long time because it simply uses up too much chakra. The moment Itachi is too tired, BOOOOM! Minato uses the simple Rasengan, FTG combo. So simple yet so, so effective.

Itachi has no way to hit Minato because of his FTG. Minato has a way to hit Itachi. Itachi's techniques use alot of chakra. Minato's techniques do not use alot of chakra. You work it out.

Alot of people will be unhappy with this. Heck, they'll probably even -rep me for this. LMAO. They probably think this is too easy for Minato; that's because it is. I know it's annoying that such cheap tricks can be so effective, that's why so many people have a hard time accepting the blatent, yet painful truth. Do you see now? Not every analysis of a battle has to be so complicated. When it comes to shinobi like Minato, the obvious answer is most likely the correct one.

i´ll keep it short...
Why itachi wins:

1) itachis kunai skills are one of the best seen in manga. Thats enough to block minatos ftg-kunais and destroy his ftg-plans so since u stated that everythingh itachi can do is countered by ftg it will be a lot lot lot harder for minato to beat itachi

2) without looking into itachis eyes minato won´t know when he uses amaterasu. so amaterasu will probably hit. ehm that thingh with the kunais doestn´t matter since minatos clothing will still burn. Even if hes naked why should his clothing or rather even his skin be ported and the fire on him not ? as far as i seen when he uses ftg everythingh hes in physikal contact with is ported with him... also the fire.

3) Minato is called the yellow flash not because his taijutsu/movement is fast but because of his ftg. And as we seen in the manga Itachis taijutsu/movement can take on a bijuu mode naruto ( who is stated to be at raikage speed )+ bee. So i think itachi easily can handle minato in taijutsu.
Itachi wins... Deal with it
