Right, I get what your're saying. Hashirama is stronger than Madara because he is the epitome peace and humility. For Madara to compete, he has to be completely evil/dark, and up until now, he wasn't and in turn resulted in Hashirama defeating him everytime. Madara's quest begins with him jumping into the abyss, because that's the only way he can compete with Hashirama's purity.

thats the harsh reality of life, even though you are super strong there always is someone stronger than you.
in madara's case it turned out to be hashirama.
but obviously this theory doesnot apply to hashirama.

maybe this is the reason why madara wanted to start mugen tsukuyomi so that he can beat hashirama in the dream world :snick:
