Your original argument was that Sasuke wouldn't have progressed as much without Naruto, which was wrong. Sasuke goal was to get stronger/defeat Itachi, strong opponents like Haku, Lee, Gaara and the sound 4 would have motivated him to get stronger. He still would have went to Orochimaru, he still would have developed in the same way. Nothing would have changed.

Naruto only effected Sasuke's goals after he completed his original goal of killing Itachi. For the majority of this manga, Naruto was an afterthought in Sasuke's mind.

It wasn't until he defeated Danzo and Naruto vowed to die with him that Sasuke's character began to need Naruto.

In the 9 Naruto movies that we've had thus far Sasuke has appeared in 3 of them. Land of Snow, Bonds, and Road to ninja.

In the 1st movie Sasuke had the coolest part of the movie where he lion barraged the shit outta that chick and made her explode.

Bonds was a shit Return of Cooler wannabe and was just an awful movie.

As far as I'm coconcerned Sasuke wasn't even in rtn and the final was so lame. They literally copy and pasted the Minato vs Masked Man fight and didn't even make it look good. That movie was terrible.

IMO every Naruto movie has been bad. So hearing that this Naruto movie will ONCE AGAIN have NarutoNaruto surrounded by his fodder 11, I can't help but feel disappointed. And I hate when everybody says "Naruto is the main character so it HAS to revolve around him" first of all Gohan isn't the main character of DBZ yet the Bojack centered around him. Second of all no one is disputing whether or not Naruto is the MC, we're just saying it would be nice to see the second most important character in the series get some more shine in the movies. I'm getting tired of watching Naruto spam rasengan and kage bunshin in all the movies, it gets so stale.
