Some say that the test had Sasuke's DNA in it :lol
These people are Grade A level slow. That isn't hair, that isn't even a body part or something that comes out from the outside of your body. It's a cord, most likely an umbilical cord. Now in the case of Karin being the woman who helped delivered Sarada, marks the question as to why:
>They would have this baby outside of Konohagakure in the first place
>Why Sakura/Sasuke kept a picture of Team Taka at their home
>Why Sarada wears glasses :lol
>Why Sakura said she would sit down with Sarada and talk to her, and Sasuke said she had no reason to apologize, it was his problem after all.
It all seems to add up on the contributing factor that she isn't the biological mother, but she is HER mother. She raised her. Why Karin never raised her in Sakura's place, the reason is unknown, but we all asked the same question when we found out Sasuke wasn't home either for about 8~+ years, so Karin obviously would have a reason, my guess is something to do with Orochimaru. He is about perfection after all, and an Uchiha mixed with an Uzumaki ... Is nothing short of perfection.
Anyway, I researched, asked questions, and then I simply just wiki'd shit. Here is why the umbilical cord is important in Japanese culture.
Whether the DNA sample was Karin's, or Sarada's, the answer should remain the same. Unless Kishimoto decides to screw with it.
Uhh... the origin of the umbilical cord does matter on the answer. You can´t say that it´s irrelevant if the DNA sample comes from Karin or Sarada to reach the conclussion -using the DNA test as yourm main argument btw-that no matter what Karin is the biological mother.
If the cord is from Sarada´s then Suigetsu screwed up the test, ergo the conclussion they reached (Karin´s the mom) is erroneus and the only thing he got to prove is that Sarada´s DNa matches Sarada´s (LOOOOOL). Point. End of Story.
If the cord is from Karin, then that beautiful pharagraph depicting the importance of the umbilical cord in the Japanese culture is kinda irrelevant to the issue. Karin is still a mother than rather dedicate to work for Orochi than to raise her own kid, and to add insult to injury she didn´t care enough to leave it in the hands of someone she liked but in the hands of a woman she at one point in time called "enemy" (I mean shouldn´t have been better to leave this job for Naruto, someone whose chakra was deemed "warm and nice"?.
In conclussion with the information we have up until now:
1. Karin is not the undisputable biological mom, and Suigetsu trolled Sarada and Naruto with his outstanding "skills" as molecular biologist (XDXDXD) (she could be, but equally she could not be. You may argue why would she get to keep the cord if it´s so important to japanese culture; however as this chaper depicted the genetic tissue is not what matters in Sakura´s mind. Is the bonds forged with other people what is important for her. So:
A). She could have left Karin keep it to compensate for getting Sasu/for her helping them during childbirth/etc.
B). Karin basicaly stole it (possible, we´re talking here a bout a woman that considered "hot" to keep the sweat impregnate´s rags of her crush clothes).
or,
2. Karin is the biological donor, but still a deadbeat mother that chosed working for a known crimial over raising her own kid. This is a fact up until now.
So pick your poison, Indra. What do you prefer:
1. Absolute OP genetics at the cost of making said parents no better than random genetic donors put on a test tube parenting wise?
2. The possibility Karin is not the mom, and that Sakura could still rustle your genetic dream
Take one thing into account: the one preaching genetic is the most important thing ever is the baddie of the story. You may get trolled still, but so could SS.
