By the way Hiruzen died, how was he supposed to send back Enma? As for Gamabunta he and Naruto had already talked about bunta being out of chakra. He didn't just leave on his own.

Your case, state it, because all you have said is things that Jiraiya would never get the chance to do.

He would never have time to be summoned to Mt. Myobokuzan before he would be put under Itachi's genjutsu.

He would never be able to break into Susanoo, and he has no way of stopping Amaterasu should he ever be hit by it.

i will admit these two are basically even to the fact where either can win however i do give the slightest slightest edge still to itachi

about amatarasu yes sage mode does make your speed increase but remember sasuke didnt escape it and even with sage mode j man would most likely still get caught it moves at the speed of light j mans speed boost wont get him completely away

in addition needle hair as a block would also be very dumb because yes it might defend him momentarily but when j man has to change back to his original hair he would be burned their and if he did extend it itachi would just use susano and with the sealing part its somewhat slow, its slow enough that itachi wont just sit their and let nothing be done and those frogs wont be enough he could use distance attacks or even defeat the frogs in which j man would really be screwed

j man would be dead the frogs would also be or do what they did with pain and itachi would be in critical condition

such critical condition that if he doesnt get medical attention between 20-30 minutes itachi would also die

I see them equal, and i think even for Kishimoto they are equal. Besides the fact, Itachi feared him in part1 when he said "even if we fight together(Itachi+Kisame) the most we could do is to die with him", in the scenario Kishi wanted intentionally that they die at the same moment, and even in the databook they have the same points.

That is the thing, the only arguments for Jiraiya require the toads to already be there. Itachi doesn't give that kind of time to his opponents.

Don't you think that Oro would have stood a better chance had he summoned snakes, or used Edo Tensei? But he never got the chance because he was under a genjutsu and then was trolled.

Same with Deidara, he was in a genjutsu from the beginning.

Itachi doesn't let things progress very far.

P.S. I'm still not convinced about the reverse summoning, as it makes no sense for Kishi to make Ma summon Naruto later.

Itachi wins this battle 7 out of 10 times if it came to death. Itachi stated himself that the best he could do against Jiiraiya is a tie. Remember Itachi is a very humble person. IT really would depend on where the battle took place and if Jiiraiya was in sage mode when the battle started. Otherwise Itachi wins mid-low difficulty. Itachi wouldn't stand and fight Jiiraiya. Itachi knows it would be to risky and he doesn't want to kill anyone from the village he threw his life away for to protect.

give that kind of time? huh? since when did it take 5 hours to summon a summoning? no less than 10 or 5 secs?

IMO whos to say jman wont start in sage mode at first? you cannot escape frog genjutsu that ma and pa use they use it by hearing only way for itachi not to hear is if he cuts off his ears or he becomes deaf.
