Isn't saying the Boruto anime like saying the Spongebob cartoon? It'd make more sense to just say Boruto or Spongebob. It also sounds kind of racist like saying the Asian or the black. No one's going to mistake that sig for meaning you're happy at the thought of Ao coming in Boruto, so why add the extra words?

For boruto no it's not the same since there's 2 mediums in which to enjoy boruto. Anime and manga, so when someone says I cant wait to see AO in boruto anime, its most likely because they already see Ao in boruto manga. Same would apply to comics and cartoons if it exists in both.

EX, i really hope to see "insert comic villain here" in the next spiderman movie (and or spiderman cartoon(spectacular spiderman was the best comic book cartoon to ever exist, then in second place can be Teen Titans))
