Why is Superman vs Batman so hated?

MoS took a story thats been told a thousand times and gave it an fresh, interesting narrative while pleasing fans and not being afraid of making their own choices. Its score was amazing. its visuals were outstanding. its backstory was very good. it showcased almost all of his powers and was perfect for a superman not fully matured.

OT: If Dark Knight is a 10 (masterpiece) then Mos was a 9 and BvS is a 8

Agree on the comic faithfulness, Lex is a good character but not really close to the comic one. From what I've seen, comic Lex is much more tech-savy and mostly in control of himself.

Also, Batman kills people in there but he did that in his first appearance, infamously enough.

I do understand when you're coming from, especially the first argument. Still, I think that people are going to compare Avengers and the likes to the DC movies, mostly because they are both superheroes-based blockbusters, whereas the Netflix shows are more about Daredevil and the likes.

To be honest, the "meh too serious" arguments seems to be taken, since SQ seems to be black comedy at its finest and the Justice League movie will be "funnier".

people say the movie is to cluttered but the movie basically revolves around batman,superman, and lex with a good bit of wonder woman, louis lane and alfred. Even when they brought up the cameos of the other superheroes, they went about it in a way that didn't deviate from the man plot. Also, the real plot of the movie I personally find amazing.
