@Bold: Wow, you actually make Sasuke seem like much more of an as***** then he could possibly be, just so you can lift the blame off of him.

@Red: You can't applying the logic of a modern globalized society in real life to a manga with old Japanese culture. Sasuke would not mess around with Sakura, after everything they have been through and the way the manga ended (699). If it was with any other girl I would tell you he could be messing around (it would be extremely OOC though), but not her. My guess is that he either never came back to start a relationship, or Kishi just retconed him into not giving a shit about family. Either way his character was tainted in this Gaiden.
We have gone through this plenty of times, and you seem to like characters that have this lovey-dovey thing going on. I don't. I am not lifting the blame off anyone, but may be, it's about time you realized that Sasuke never loved Sakura, and may be, he doesn't owe her anything? He slept with her and left, for example ... that makes him an *******? Yeah right. And yeah, telling the dad about your pregnancy is important. *** is ***, raising a family is a completely different ball-game. You are probably too young to even see the reason here. But all of this is pointless as we all know Kishimoto will go down a childishly stupid route.

Old Japanese culture? Kurenai raised Asuma's bastard child. What old culture are we talking about here? Sure, Japan is disapproving of bastard children because of the inheritance laws but that doesn't mean people don't fool around there. And if abortion was not a real thing in Japan, then countless clinics won't be open for girls to take care of the fetus because it would bring shame to the family. Not to mention the lack of shame from Japanese kids to prostitute themselves for purses, pocket-money, small favours etc ... but that is a different debate.

Why, Sakura is special? You know what, don't bother. I dislike her anyway, along with SS and NH. Furthermore, his character is still fine for me. Anyhow, already told you that this manga wouldn't cover such complex topics. Not sure what you are all riled up about.

Not riled up, just saying what I think. And like you keep mentioning this is a shounen manga and won't cover complex topics. I never said anything about lovey-dovey, that's not Sasuke, all I said is if it was Sakura of all girls then it is not "messing around" like you are implying, given the plot and the ending. I'm sure you know this yourself, regardless if you like any pairing/character or not.

No, you seem to be incapable of understanding the concept that *** and love are different. That was the point I was trying to make. If Kishi simply shows that Sasuke was distant from Sakura then it would provide enough evidence for people to understand that this relationship was always one-sided. And Sasuke only did sleep with her once and that was it. IF he does go down that route, and that is a big if.

He doesn't have to go out of his way to show what I have said. Few hints here and there are enough. We have gone through the forehead poke thing as well, and I highly doubt that meant true love from Sasuke's side. But, whatever you say. This "no no, he can't do this Sakura" is something I could never understand from you.

It is a fact that Sasuke is pretty much an asexual being that showed himself disgusted by any girls touch/contact through whole series, except for Sakura's.

All I'm saying is that it is VERY unlikely that he had any kind of sexual relationship with any girl besides Sakura in the whole series.

@Bold: I'm curious as to what is the other route are you thinking of?

I understand that concept, I just don't think it can apply to these 2 characters at this point. I think if they were involved, and then Sasuke distanced himself like we are seeing right now, then he would have a reason that is keeping him away. But I think there is a big possibility that they were never involved in the first place.

His interaction with her in 699 is actually one of the things that made me believe that they are in a genuine relationship for longer than I should have, and I could explain why, but I won't get into it, because Kishi chose to go a different route and it doesn't seem like we will get a proper explanation.

@Bold: Maybe you weren't keeping up with my most recent posts, but I actually believe Sasuke might have never come back for her. How's that for "He can't do this to Sakura". I will admit though that I find it confusing, and that Sasuke is not better off like this at all.

I find these "He is too good for that pink bia** let him spread his seed" remarks pretty childish and think having a family of his own which he could care about even if he is often away is far better for his character, and wouldn't damage it one bit but quite the opposite. It would have went full circle.

You are probably too young to even see the reason here.
P.S. I am older than most members here hence I understand stability is important in a man's life, I am not talking about lovey-dovey stuff at all, just stability rather than loneliness/pimping(I know these are jokes but still).
