Why is Sasuke so blind

before you comment I do not mean his vision. I know why he's blind(because he SPRAY'S-N-PRAYS). I'm talking about his current placement in the anime. In early episodes of Naruto he was cool, but now not so much. He killed Itachi but took nothing from it he doesn't think anymore about him being used for 3 years or more I realize that Kishi wants to use him as an emotional character but now hes just kind of a crappy shadow of his original self. tell me what you think.

all your life you hate me for killing our parents etc. then you finally approach me and learn that i was blackmailed/forced into doing this by our city and you killed me even though i was partly innocent ...

When does it say he was blackmailed. And why is he always being used as a tool I mean he is like 16 and used as a tool all his life one would think he would realize. Don't get me wrong I use to enjoy his character when he fought smart and he wasn't so emoish but now he is kinda lame. His fights are always in his favor. Even with Danzo who only stood a chance when he used jutsu's that turned death and attacks into dreams. It's kinda boring seeing him fight now.

Sasuke's gave in to the darkness. His clan being wiped out, aswell as Itachi's truth, has messed him up. He's reckless and really "blind" now.
