Why is Obito so overrated?

When you can name a ninja that can take on him, his paths, his mokton techs, the gedo mazo, his 5 minute kamui, 10 minute izanagi,space time fire techs, and SOLO then ill believe that he isn't overrated. Other than that he is quite fine where he is.

Listen to yourself you have to give itachi abilities he doesn't have just to face obito. Even then his chances of beating obito are slim.

Right.....Probably because of his powers and that he is one of the main villains
He has the rinnegan and we haven't even see him do shinra tensei or any other techniques the rinnegan provides all he does is rely on kamui, yeah he is overrated but he can't be defeated by sasuke I can assure u that

To be honest with you he isn't overrated.
PERSONALLY, I think its kind of bull that he has intangibility because it pretty much means that his actual skills don't need to be that great.
I often hate on characters with dojutsu or tailed beasts, simply because I feel that they are utilizing something they either didn't earn themselves (as in create) or that its simply unfair that they are utilizing something that no one else can regardless of hard work.
I know that the world rolls like that sometimes, but I can't help but get that feeling.
It is for this reason why I respect Itachi.
Itachi - Take away his sharingan, and he'll still whoop most people's asses. (Speed, Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Intelligence)
Madara - Take away his sharingan, and he'll still whoop ass. (Speed, Power, Ninjutsu, Expirience)
Jiraiya - Take away Sage Mode, he'll still whoop ass. (Power, Ninjutsu, Expirience)
Killer Bee - Take away Hachibi, he'll still whoop ass. (Power, Speed, Kenjutsu)
I could go on.
But then you get Obito. All we have evidence of from him is speed. That's it. He hasn't shown any real skill with anything that isn't souped up by the Sharingan or Rinnegan. That is why I don't respect the guy.
And I hate how people always go like "He was trained by Madara!"
Well, Naruto was trained by Jiraiya for three years... look at what he learnt in that time. In my opinion, all Madara probably did before he kicked the bucket, was help Obito come up with a fighting form that works with his intagibility, and maybe help increase his other skills SLIGHTLY.
Orochimaru and Tsunade on the other hand, have shown that they are great teachers. In three years, their students grew exponentially and were far better at the end of that three years than they were in the beginning.
Sure, Tsunade was given a pitiful excuse for a ninja to begin with, and thus it would be easier to see more gains quickly. But she still made Sakura serviceable, which is a great feat. AND, she became a good medic nin.
Orochimaru on the other was given someone who was already considered a genius (although mind you that does make it easier to teach them) and by the end of their training, he had enough in his arsenal to surprise Itachi. We all know Itachi could have bent Sasuke over and whooped him if that was his objective, but he did seem genuinely surprised a couple times, especially by Kirin.
Anyways. Rant over...

I will never consider them to be a representation of his strength, simply because he did NOTHING to get them. They were captured by Itachi, Kisame, Kakuzu, Sasori, Deidara, all shinobi who earned their names.

Well, technically speaking he's right.
Your question "Why is he overrated?"
His answer "Because he is a main villain with a lot of power" (Not that he earned it, but he does have it now)
