Why is no one talking about this?

But still, two shinobi in the entire world who know how to do one-handed seals, and one happens to be Kakashi's sensei and he still doesn't know about it? You would think Minato would be known specifically for that feat.

I doubt there are some jutsu that simply only use a single hand. In part 1 he reacted as if it was conceptually impossible. And this is the man who has copied over 1000 jutsu. I just find it strange.
This here just sounds like you're assuming that Minato preformed one-handed seals as his main style. Last time he was alive, he had two hands, so he really never had need to use a one handed seal if he had two hands.

Just my thoughts.

I have given my response to this assumption multiple times in this thread.

-Sigh- As I mentioned multiple times, this isn't just an ability you learn for kicks and choose not to use until the situation calls for it. He is now one of two people who to ever use one-handed seals. Ever. Ever. And no one is questioning it, nor is he famous for it, nor has it been mentioned ever that he has this ability.

This isn't just a matter of learning a jutsu that happens to only use one hand. This is a near impossible skill in and of itself. Like choosing to use a Fireball with your feet.

If it were as easy as being smart, then everyone above Haku's level (which there are a shit load of) would be pulling out one-handed jutsu every day. But this is not the case, as Kakashi, copier of 1000 jutsu has never even seen such a feat.
Thats where your wrong. Your so hung up on it being this hard ass thing to learn, but maybe it's just not well known.

Can't be wrong when there's no proof refuting it.

You can assume it's an easy feat as much as I can assume it isn't. But at the end of the day, Kakashi was amazed that such a feat was possible. Hell, Kakashi was more impressed by single-handed jutsus than he was by most of the Akatsuki members' abilities.

Kakashi also thought that the Sharingan came from the Byakugan, and that the Sage of 6 paths was only a myth. The answer could simply be that Kakashi simply didn't know it was possible.

Kakashi doesn't know everything.

Sorry, just saw your last post.

I don't know why you're basing your argument solely on Kakshi's knowledge of jutsu, given that Kakshi himself has never demonstrated any of his "1000" jutsu's memorized, or that he is not widely known for being a great traveler. If I remember correctly, each village has a myriad of Jutsu's many other villages don't have, or even know about.

The Sharingan knowledge fluctuates a lot among the villages, as (mostly) everyone seems to suddenly seem surprised when it's activated.

A lot of jutsu that was said to be "one-time-see-cause-you're-gonna-die-after-you-see-it" or the "ultimate defense" has been used quite a lot throughout the series.

I sincerely doubt that only two people have ever used the style of one-handed sealing in the entire Naruto Universe/timeline.

I probably missed something....I feel like I have...
