Why is Naruto's surname not Namikaze?

Dude uzumaki´s had red hair and uzumaki´s aside from mito and kushina were outsiders of the village
, minato was born in the th hidden leaf, he´s obviosuly not an uzumaki.
Besides the reason other people gave was pretty logical, giving your child your surname when you´re person a lot of people want dead would put your child in danger being that minato was widely know throughout the world, so a lot of people would seek vengance through naruto namizake.

I wrote minato being An uzumaki is a possibility. naruto is an uzumaki too but he is blonde.

Namikaze wasn't a clan.in NV no shinobi use his family name as a surname.every shinobi use his clan name as a surname E.g.uchiha itachi never called as a itachi fugaki or uchiha madara were never called as a madara tijami.

Namikaze is not a clan so naruto didn't use it as a surname.

In NV last name of every character belongs to their clan names so it was logical for naruto to use uzumaki as a surname

I don't know when ppl on NB will use their tiny brains?

Anyways minato might also be from the uzumaki clan as his chakra reserves were very high.he learned SM.

You are basing that on the simple fact that Minato was the only one shown with it, which does not say that it was not a Clan. You even contradict yourself by saying: "Every Shinobi uses his Clan name as a surname." :erm:
