no relation, why? Obito did a great job by deceiving everybody that he's Madara Uchiha. They all thought they were heading to battle Madara anyway.

It's awkward having a villian who's just a relic of the past with no real relationship to the main character, was lucky being brought back because of Kabuto and only has interest in a side character who was also recently brought back.

I agree Obito should be the final villian with Madara being the Palpatine of the Naruto series.

This is my opinions summed up perfectly.

A ninja who resents the ninja world and wants it to be in his image (playing the role of God)? I don't think it's any problem with this at all. Instead of relating to the main char, I think Kishi is just trying to convey a theme of "People don't change vs people can change" with an extra "bonds and friendship hoopla." I mean this is my opinion but I think it's really well planned

I haven't got a problem with his goal and how villainous it is to take over the world by force. But it's all too last minute and convenient. He was just revived this arc which is pure luck since Nagato/Obito had no intention of revivng him and for me final villains for me are long term ones. Then there's this whole obsession with Hashirama the only reason he wanted a world without winners and losers as he put it was because he got beat by Hashirama, he definitely wouldn't be saying this if he came out on top and in this chapter he said he just wanted fight Hashirama before the plan moves forward but can't now, his priorities aren't straight.

Maybe Kishi is going to develop some kind of grudge between Naruto and Madara during the next few chapters, with Obito out of the picture, the manga will focus more one Madara as the main villain.

I see what you mean, I heard the series was suppose to end after the Pain Arc anyways. Still though, he planned this from the beginning and I agree that it was chance that allowed him to be revived. However, as Kabuto being Oro's apprentice, it's not a surprise that he would learn Edo Tensei. Since he was already working with Obito, I don't really feel like it was an a**pull; I guess I'm on the ropes about it (good cover up Kishi). I mean with obstacles opposing you're goals, you're gonna fight to stop it right? I believe he only got interested when Hashi was around because he felt Hashi is the only one that can give him a challenge (kinda like Kenpachi from Bleach).

did you guys forget about the juubi? every since he has been revived, he has been the main villain. madara is definetly gonna get trolled and maybe even killed again, since he is evidently being revived next chapter.

Because Obito is too weak to be final Villain, it was said from the start that Obito is nothing more then Madaras creation, a mere puppet to carry on Madaras plan.. what else did you expect ?

BTW. Madara was never part of Edo army.

I don't know... I still feel there is something else that is going to happen. Obito doesn't lack will power.. So maybe there is a twist that Kishi is going to pull. I personally feel the same way as you. I want Obito to be Juubi Jin and Naruto being the Pseudo Juubi Jin in a battle of Gods and the main parallel in the story (Naruto vs Anti-Naruto). Hopefully Madara fails to control Obito fully and Obito is able to withstand control.

Let's not resort to the 'Obito got friendzoned' argument because it's immature, wrong and i'm not even going to bother arguing it.

And yes it may have Madara's plan he failed and died an old defeated man. It's only down to chance that he managed to come back at all! Kabuto having Madara in a coffin was a fluke and something Obito and nobody else saw coming, including dead old Madara. It's Obito's war and his resolve is so much more deep than Madara's who 'only wants to rule the world because i'm evil hahahah', Obito has genuine reason for the Moon Eye Plan, far more than just Rin and you know it. Obito is simply the more interesting and thought-provoking character and he is actually relevant, he's not from some dead age. Obito's quest is in the here and the now.

And hey, if Obito really is just off'd like that then whatever, but Sasuke or Orochimaru better have something up their sleeves because there is no emotional tension in Naruto and Sasuke fighting some 1000 old random Uchiha guy they don't know who was apparently a big deal once.

If its wrong, prove it.
Even in today's chapter, when he is about to die, he is still thinking about rin.

What else is the reason that he called out war for?
Atleast madara have a good reason to turn evil, because his entire clan betrayed him , he lost all he had, his bro. What he said was correct, after hashirama, tobirama became hokage and discrimination towards uchiha started.

Obito clearly knows why rin died , and it was her own will. He is still stuck up on the past and can't move on. But that is not the problem here, the problem is , he is doing the same thing which brought him in this situation, war.
Tell me, how actually would he obtain world peace like that? do you approve of his idea?

Madara is a god damn villain and he is playing his role exactly like he should. Orochimaru is also a perfect villain.
They are villain because they are evil.
The problem i have with obito being the main villain is, his reasons for becoming a villain.
Rin died, so what, everyone has to die one day, it is the rule of life. Just move on and don't get stuck up to what happened.

He is reason ,minato lost his whole family in a matter of seconds. Obito thinks he is correct and want to cast genjutsu on the world because the person he loved the most died. then again, what he did to minato? his beloved sensei?
He took away from minato what he loved the most. So did you see minato hating him ?
Madara sliced tsunade in two different pieces and do you see hashirama being mad about it?
Shinobi is the one who endures. Kakashi lost all the people he loved , do you see him giving up on life and killing of other people just for his own selfish dream ?

In fact, it was more difficult on kakashi than on obito, because kakashi killed her team mate by his very own hands.
Can you imagine how would he feel at that time?

Madara represents the elder son and wants to rule the world by power. Whats wrong with that?
And whats up with your argument of madara being old? So you judge if a villain is legit or not, by his age ?

For me , ever since tobi was revealed as obito, he stopped acting as a villain and started becoming a cry baby.

Who says he's the final villain? Kishi's a great writer so everything will work out in the end and it will be worth the years spent reading the manga.

I don't think obito will die.He can use izanagi but if he dies that would be stupid.I prefer oro to be the final villain than madara who just wants to fight hashirama. This manga is getting worse every week. After kabuto was defeated i started to lose interest in this manga.

Yes but Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi have no relationship with him. They're basically fighting a stranger, Orochimaru, Obito, Nagato- and now just some random OP Uchiha who was once a big deal apparently. It's an anticlimax whereas Tobi has built relationships with all the central characters present on the battlefield, not just Hashirama. He inadvertently killed Minato and his wife, him and Kakashi, he polluted Sasuke, he's taunted Naruto ever since they first met- the tension would be so intense when they all finally clash, Obito can just become the Juuibi and his war is finally won- Madara's reason for the Moon eye is also much more shallow then Obito's. It's just much more personal and meaningful for me.
