Why is Kushina's life force much stronger then Naruto's?

Kushina gets the 100 percent kurama extracted and gives , but she can still walk around, restrain bijuu , and still tank a kurama claw. Naruto gets 50 percent kurama extracted , but he passes out instantly. Being her son he should have at least been conscious... Did kishi forget something.?
