The problem in the manga is neither Kishi, nor Sasuke looking inferior to Naruto. The real problem is the fanbase refusal and denial of manga facts - that is the fact that Sasuke is neither the savior, nor equal to Naruto, nor a so new character feat-wise.

See, Sasuke's power is already deprecated. Even before it was learned that Sasuke is Indra's reincarnation, Sasuke had already used every bit of all the power that are known of Indra reincarnation - that is his Uchiha power. The only power that was left for Sasuke was PS. On the other end, Naruto has been a regular shinobi using regular power and help from Kurama. Basically, Naruto was depicted has source of energy without any jutsus, while Sasuke was using all his jutsus. Thus, I don't think Kishi is making Sasuke look bad. It is just that Sasuke has used all his power already.

In fact, I think your complaints are going to increase since Naruto is going to show more new feats than he has ever shown in the manga.

only a dope cant see the direction kishi is heading for. Nb is the only habitat infested by these Sasky fanboys that actually think Sasky will be on par with the the alpha dog Naruto. facts are facts and sooner they deal with it the better U_U

Just an honest question which puzzles me.

Naruto these past few chapters has been throwing feats out of every orifice of his body. Truly Naruto has been looking very cool these past chapters since both him and Sasuke gained their new powers.

Sasuke by comparison has been coming off as more of a damp rag. So far all he has show cased is his enhanced Perfect Susanoo, some weird lightning swords, teleporting/possible Izanagi usage. His ability to fight Kaguya has come off as rather....well poor.

All of the instances that Sasuke has been showcased feel.....kind of like token acts on the behalf of Kishimoto more than anything else.

What do you think?

His role will be to insist upon the destruction of the current world to create an ideal one (rather than create a false world - destroy the existing one and build one that works according to his rules). I doubt his plans include the well being of those currently within the world.

The actual role of combating Kaguya lays more with Naruto - since it is his legacy as an Uzumaki to deal with issues involving Wakunochi No Kami (The Holy Tree, yes, it has a name - no, it has not been mentioned in the manga). It is also the purpose of the Hyuuga to deal with Kaguya (no, neither the Hyuuga nor the Uzumaki are likely the spawn of Homura - I can't say for certain, as Kishimoto has done things that I would not have given the same impetus).

Sasuke doesn't really factor into the picture aside from being a vessel for Hagoromo's continued meddling.

I concur with this post. Sasuke has been shoehorned into this role to give him a purpose in this fight, but his real function will be that of opposition to Naruto. Hence why Kishi doesn't care he is portraying worse than ever at this juncture.

Well, it's probably to build things up for really showcasing Sasuke's powers now that he's on his own. Sasuke can do a lot of things that Naruto can't; he set up Kaguya to be sealed by teleporting her, and he got them out of the ice despite neither being able to move. I think that Naruto will struggle without Sasuke's support, especially since Sasuke is also better at analysis.

Without Sasuke, Naruto would be trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi. So there's that.

OT. he is not making sasuke look bad, you are just doing what we call selective reading. against madara, sasuke was the one launching the assaults, he was the one who figured out madaras limbo and found a way to counter. his was the one getting all the praise from madara(complimented his intelligence as well as his speed) his s/t technique was what was causing madara problems he was like the general while naruto was taking orders. but lemme guess, you just conveniently forgot or decided to ignore all that. in the current battle, his soosano was dismantled yes but it was an explosion which sasukes soosano felt the full force off. considering naruto was sent flying away and he was farther away from kaguya proves he wont have any better in sasukes situation afterall kaguya did flick him away in their little scuffle so dont act like naruto too is not getting owned by her. it was because of sasuke that both were even able to get that close to kaguya in order to seal her as sasuke ported her in between their sealing attack. just like he did against madara, by getting him in a position were both he and naruto struck him and later on were about to seal him off. that means that sasukes jutsu is the key in getting kaguya in the position to be sealed away.

they have both been owned and like someone said naruto cannot do what sasuke can and vice versa. kishimoto is not making look bad in any way. he still has more to show and hes actually advanced sasuke a lot.

True but Sasuke shouldn't be like Shikamaru their personal portable strategist, he should be Naruto equal. Right now even with Hagaromo's help it simply doesn't feel like that is the case.

True I suppose we will see some more showcasing from Sasuke the next few chapters. Escaping from the ice wasn't even that impressive, Naruto could have used Onmyoudon to escape the jutsu. <See thats what I mean by token instances where Sasuke gets to do something where its not really needed. Naruto could have used Onmyoudon as well to protect them all from IT light. Heck even Kakashi could have with a Doton jutsu lol

false, narutos balls had no effect as they were frozen. reread it, sasuke was the one who had to do something and he had the perfect counter to it. thats why naruto thanked him.
nice fanfic, since when does omyoudon protect someone fron IT, lol you are only making assumptions to try and discredit sasuke. i can also say times when naruto saved sasuke, it wasnt needed as sasuke could have helped himself but am not biased. naruto was saved in those cases, period.

No I'm not a Sasuke fan, but "damaging" Madara seems like a Joke to me sorry. The guy wasn't even worried about getting cut up by Sasuke, so obviously I wasn't impressed at all lol. It seemed like this, "Oh I lost my lower half, damn" Then two panels later he is fine. Sasuke demonstrated no ability to actually HURT Madara is some real fashion, Naruto at least pinned one of his Limbo clones.

Sasuke lacks teamwork, not any of the others you mentioned, and Sasuke is not inferior to Naruto. (That, to you, must be the harsh fact.) Sasuke has feats, many of them aswell, same goes for Naruto. Sense wise, Sasuke outmatches Naruto so greatly that its not even funny. Naruto is, and has always been an idiot beyond anyone's understanding. (Even Hagoromo support this as the reason Naruto may have a chance of changing the world.) So, no. Sasuke and Naruto both will work together to defeat Kaguya, not to mention that Sasuke pretty much soloed Madara during their short fight. (Naruto barely did anything to him other than blocking Madara's attack and cooperating under Sasuke's lead.)

how did sasuke solo madara when he couldnt even see the real madara. all he could see was limbo madara and without naruto he wouldnt have even know n there was a real madara until the real madara killed sasuke,

Listen everyone and his dog has stabbed Madara so far lol. They didn't need anything sharper than their blunt hand to do it. So I think his "lightning blade" isn't that impressive.

Creating openings? Sure ok I'll give you that but overall that only facilitates Naruto's own strength and ability to defeat Madara.

If Sasuke was on his own he couldn't hurt or seal Madara.

If Naruto was on his own if he was lucky he could seal and defeat Madara.

End of story.

The Manga is call Naruto, the Hero is Naruto and Naruto is the child of Prophecy so it logical for Naruto to be the center of attention. If you can't deal with this reality you need to find something else to read sines Sasuke is not going to replace Naruto.

you mean just like susanoo which also doesnt protect against genjutsu? if susanoo can protect against IT then i see no reason a goududama shield cant. im also not claiming it will, i think sasukes statement hints that it wouldnt and that you need sasukes eyes to protect against it. im just pointing out the stupidity in your comment.

yes and thats why he would have been sleeping in infinite genjutsu if not for sasuke shielding him right? he has no counter IT. madara would have soloed him easily if not for sasuke and vice versa.
