[Discussion] Why is Kishimoto making Sasuke look bad?

Just an honest question which puzzles me.

Naruto these past few chapters has been throwing feats out of every orifice of his body. Truly Naruto has been looking very cool these past chapters since both him and Sasuke gained their new powers.

Sasuke by comparison has been coming off as more of a damp rag. So far all he has show cased is his enhanced Perfect Susanoo, some weird lightning swords, teleporting/possible Izanagi usage. His ability to fight Kaguya has come off as rather....well poor.

All of the instances that Sasuke has been showcased feel.....kind of like token acts on the behalf of Kishimoto more than anything else.

What do you think?

I think they're both going to really show what they can do when they take on Kaguya one on one in each dimension - she's the demon goddess, the progenitor of all chakra; I'm sure she knows how to make clones of herself, right?

Kishimoto said Sasuke was his favorite or Choji so I don't think he is making him look bad. Plus now that Naruto and Sasuke are apart now we will see them showing there powers alone

No I'm not a Sasuke fan, but "damaging" Madara seems like a Joke to me sorry. The guy wasn't even worried about getting cut up by Sasuke, so obviously I wasn't impressed at all lol. It seemed like this, "Oh I lost my lower half, damn" Then two panels later he is fine. Sasuke demonstrated no ability to actually HURT Madara is some real fashion, Naruto at least pinned one of his Limbo clones.

Well, it's probably to build things up for really showcasing Sasuke's powers now that he's on his own. Sasuke can do a lot of things that Naruto can't; he set up Kaguya to be sealed by teleporting her, and he got them out of the ice despite neither being able to move. I think that Naruto will struggle without Sasuke's support, especially since Sasuke is also better at analysis.

Without Sasuke, Naruto would be trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi. So there's that.

Because sasuke isn't the main, main character of Naruto. He's secondary main character tbh the feats he displays is enough he'll do more be patient

True I suppose we will see some more showcasing from Sasuke the next few chapters. Escaping from the ice wasn't even that impressive, Naruto could have used Onmyoudon to escape the jutsu. <See thats what I mean by token instances where Sasuke gets to do something where its not really needed. Naruto could have used Onmyoudon as well to protect them all from IT light. Heck even Kakashi could have with a Doton jutsu lol

Kishi is showing that the one who lacks teamwork and Sense failed in the end just like madara and indra..

Naruto is succeeding because of his will power and guts to never give up ..

Sasuke lack guts to never give up and will power

Naruto trained for every jutsu but sasuke didnt train for anything that's why he is lacking feats

Naruto learned techniques and work hard for it.. but sasuke was given with itachi's eyes and itachi's amerterasu ..

Sasuke is fighting for his self but naruto is fighting for kakashi sakura and all SA ..

When Sasuke was protecting them with his Sussanu ... Naruto wanted to go out ... and you are telling me that he was going to use that to protect himself .
