Why is Kishi making Minato look so bad?

I mean he is not even recieving the Hokage treatment, he is just looking tremendously weak, slow and amateurish.

This guy that makes a lot of good reviews asks himself the same question, i think is pretty clear Kishi gives popular characters like Itachi a better treatment.

What do you think? is Minato just that bad or he should shine more? at least get some spotlight right? After the Zetsu debacle, he gets fodderized in his new(asspull) Sage Mode right away...

I think the SM was a wrong call on kishi's part, but without it minato can't attack madara logically, since only SM works.

I agree with this. You don't give some an asspull power up and then not allow them to utilize it. If he hadn't been fodderized so bad, it wouldn't have been that bad.

I don't see how is getting defeated by the Juubi's host is a bad thing.

Hashirama got defeated by madara who did not have eyes, SM, or the Juubi.
all the Bijuus with Naruto & B got defeated by madara who did not have the Juubi.
Sasuke got 1 paneled. Tobirama got off panaled. the 5 Gokage were defeated by edo madara...etc

it's not just Minato. As for so called Hokage treatment, it's unlike the Senju brothers, Minato's role has not ended yet.

You have to remember that age pretty much matters as well. Compared to Madara and the 3 Hokage, Minato is the least experienced shinobi. It was even stated that his role as the Fourth Hokage was short and that he died young. He was just a young prodigy of his era and the strongest of HIS time (not including the third as he retired). So you can't really blame Kishi. Its pretty much logical that with more battle experience, nothing will surprise you on the battlefield hence the reason why Minato was fodderised like the lame that he is (shots fired). Besides, Madaras pretty much untouchable now excluding Obito since hes madaras bottom b!tch

Its because they didn't fail as bad as Minato. Sure, Tobi and Hashi got soloed, but it was understandable. At least it was a true fight. Minato on the other hand, is just doing so bad right now, you cant ignore it. Fastest reactions, with sensing active, but he still seals the beast inside of Black Zetsu because he needed a flashback? Then, he tries to be boss, asspulling sage mode but then gets shitted on, his arm being sliced off and then him being kicked away into both Kakashi and Gaara. Its just too much fail
